Beds were very comfortable.
Newly refurbished bathroom ( shower was wonderful)
Some areas of hotel are a little dated but didn't spoil our stay.

Excellent breakfast : served in the ‘Bistro’ which is very pleasant.
Very good location in Callander. Staff extremely helpful.
Had evening meal in the friendly ‘Back Bar’ : high quality.
Overall fantastic value and great environment.
Bed linen not the most comfortable but rooms well equipped otherwise.

The property was fine for the price which was reasonable.
My room was above the bar. It was Saturday night and live music playing until 1 am. No evidence of soundproofing so sleep was impossible until after that time.
I understand this is what pubs do on a Saturday night. MY Objection is that when I made the booking there was no warning about this. If I had known I would have booked elsewhere.
