A warm welcome from Lesley. Also graciousness in adapting to my booking, as I had made a mistake in booking for one, rather than two. A comfortable room overnight, and excellent breakfast. Very homely.

Ideally situated for what my friend & I had in mind, which was walking.
Chose the twin room which was very small, this was a single room at best. No where to put your bags, very cramped. Bathroom door was actually two panels that had been hinged together to make a folding door, unfortunately this wasn’t on the runner & basically you had to lift it to close. Beds uncomfortable. A black out curtain that didn’t fit the window when closed, so let light in. TV wasn’t working due to Wi-Fi problems, not a big deal but still should have been brought to our attention. Breakfast was good.
