The room is nice and it's located in a lovely courtyard. Also, Tepotzlan can sometimes get a bit noisy, but it's far away enough from the main street that you can't hear a thing, but it's still only a short 5 minute walk away from everything.

Much nicer than we expected for such an affordable price, and the town is amazing.

We had low expectations because this was a very affordable room that we booked after a sudden change of plans. The hotel is in a relatively central location, though the town is a steep uphill walk for several blocks, so it might not be ideal for some people. The space is enclosed and secure and feels more like a hacienda than a hotel. Our room was spacious with two sizeable beds, so we used one to spread out our belongings. The shower had hot water and decent pressure. The staff were helpful. Also, Tepoztlan may be my favorite Pueblo Magico - it is exceptionally beautiful.

The steep walk up to the main part of the town was strenuous for us middle aged people and I would just warn anyone with mobility issues that you might prefer to catch a taxi the short ride up. There are taxis running about a block away. The only other concern was some black mold growing on the ceiling of the shower, and a warning that the sink is located in the shower, which could be off-putting for some people.

The place is really nice, our room was spacious with a super comfortable bed and a nice, hot shower with good water pressure, and the people who work here are really friendly and inviting. We would definitely come back!

Great bargain for backpackers.

Very nice room. Very clean with nice view of the patio. The bed was king size and very comfortable. Television was excellent with cable and netflix. Two large towels, soap and shampoo provided. Friendly, helpful, staff.

Bathroom light bulbs were burned out. This hostel is located just under a half mile from the main street of Tepoztlan. The walk to the center of town is nice, but, be warned, it is all uphill. Having said all that, if you dont mind a bit of a walk each day in exchange for a nice, clean, comfortable, and inexpensive room with a friendly staff, then this is the place for you.

The worst experience ever.

Everything was awful. The room was disgusting, full of huge cockroaches, we found at least five. We couldn’t sleep at all, we had to wake up the owner who said was going to do something and then disappeared and left us waiting. Then she said founding cockroaches was ‘normal because of the garden’, and not only did she not offered any compensation or solution, she was incredibly rude. Finally, as if all this weren’t enough, when we tried to leave there were two cars parked behind us and as they forgot to ask for the key to the other guests so they could move them, we had to wait 3 HOURS to leave. THE WORST EXPERIENCE I’ve every had. I’ve never been treated so bad.

Overall it was a nice place to stay.

The beds were comfortable. There was an AC to keep us fresh, even though it wasn't used a lot, since the weather outside was great. It was close to the main place where people meet. The hosts were friendly and polite.

The bathroom rug was soaking wet when we got there. Only one outlet worked throughout the room. Besides that, everything seemed good.

Si tienen oportunidad de hospedarse en otro lugar, por favor ¡háganlo! Al llegar, (nos hospedamos por medio de Booking), nos recibió un señor muy amable, nos dirigió a la "recepción", una mesa de 1x1 con papeles revueltos y nos dijo que enseguida nos atenderían. A los 7 minutos (si, 7 minutos), se acerca una mujer con aspecto muy descuidado y sin decir buenas tardes, pregunta qué que deseábamos. Se le comenta que tenemos una reservación por medio de Booking. Al escuchar ella lo anterior, sus facciones faciales cambian de un estado tranquilo a un estado de molestia, debido a que tuvo que ir a otra habitación por su lap para poder abrir la página de Booking y verificar nuestra reservación. Cabe hacer notar que la otra habitación es increíble comedor donde estaban varias personas: una anciana, 2 señores maduros y 3 niños. Todos ellos comiendo plácidamente. La lap top tardo en "cargar" mas de 9 minutos la página de Booking. 16 minutos sin recibir un "disculpe", ni un "permítame por favor". Nada, simplemente nada. Al abrir y verificar que efectivamente teníamos la reservación confirmada, la supuesta recepcionista nos dice el total de la habitación y al entregar la tarjeta de débito para pagar, voltea y de manera grosera dice que sólo aceptan efectivo. Le comento que entonces pagaba con una transferencia electrónica y de igual forma, con molestia le grita a la persona anciana que está de espaldas comiendo en la otra habitación, que si recibe transferencias y ésta, sin voltear, sólo dice: "no, porque pago muchos impuestos". Con molestia le pregunté que entonces que haríamos y dice: "le puedo hacer favor de darle la habitación y se va al banco, saca efectivo y aquí lo esperamos". No, no es broma. Así contestó. Se le preguntó que banco había y dijo que "algunos en el centro". Cansados del viaje, domingo tarde noche, sin comer y todavía ir al banco por efectivo para pagar la estadía.
