Quiet, nature, short distance from the town, yoga deck.

Wifi signal was quite low in my room.

Great location in a great city. About 20 minutes walking from the city center and from artisinal shops.An easy taxi ride from and to the nearest bus station. About a 30 minute walk to the start of the temple hike. Staff was great, people were nice, facilities were cleaned daily. There were storage lockers above the beds.

The place itself is on a compound with lots of people on it--at least when I was there. Though the space is big, the 2 rooms I saw had shared bathrooms between what appeared to be up to 15 people.

I loved how cozy the bed was! The hammocks and lots of places to hang out and the view is extraordinary!

One of the volunteers stay in the upstairs cubby loved to come in at all hours and turn on the lights, bang around and wake everyone up. A guest there did the same thing and she was staying long term. When I told the owner she said many had complained about her, and they did nothing! She took over the whole hostel, was hostile with me when I was just eating my breakfast. This guest also stole a few things from me! She was awful! Loud, angry, brought food into the room when it was against the rules, left candles burning 24 hours a day and burned Paul Santos all the time which disrupted everyone. I couldn’t sleep well there because of the guest and volunteer! The owner is sweet! And she needs to let go of that guest and the volunteer!
