Friendly staff, great location, not super clean..

Location. The room was decent sized, two towels, a small shampoo packet and soap bar. Hot water and decent shower pressure as well. Just make sure you cover the drain, otherwise the sewage odour fills the space up.

The property was okay, on the last night, there was a party (dj, speakers, really loud) just across my room. It didnt stop until after 3am. The property is not responsible for this - and it did impact my stay. There were a lot of long hairs in the bathroom/shower - not sure if it was thoroughly cleaned. No washcloth or hand towel. There was also mold on the ceiling and all over the shower curtain - felt really gross to touch it to open/close. Perhaps to replace it would be beneficial.

Was a really nice place to stay. Lovely space to sit in the evening with a view of the mountains.

Superbly laid out with rooms off the hall with views either way, small and well equipped kitchen with everything you'd need and outside balcony space to sit. Close to small shops for supplies, milk, delicatessens etc.

It's out of the hands of the lovely staff, but there's a crazy neighbour playing super loud music at random times. Bring earplugs!

Some staff was very helpful, location is great! but what I most liked was the temazcal; and massage my mom and I had

the room doesn't have a privet bedroom, and everyone eded using the toilet even external ppl that comes just for the temazacal. Derick our guide was super chill and nice, I asked the reception if we could borrow a towel and they told us that we have to pay for a towel even that we contacted services of temazcal and spa, just was lady we acting s bit intense about the cheap old towels. I'm not making this just about the towel but the way that she yield at my mom that was d=freezing after the temazcal at night.

Everything was great! The lodge is very close to the center but in a quiet location. Our room was super clean and comfortable with a huge bed and everything we needed. The staff is super nice too. We also did the Temazcal ceremony and it was an amazing experience.

Cockerel next door was charming, but the neighbours playing loud music from midnight to 2am were not. A mini fridge in the room, or use of a fridge somewhere, would have been nice.

The staff here was really nice and helpful and they arranged the taxi for us on the ladt day. There is a temazcal on the property which makes it really conveniente to have the 'ritual' without having to go somewhere. The vibe here is really nice and family oriented, there is a small garden on the property where we rested for a while. The location is really good, in a quiet place but still very close to the main market and city centre. We were there during the weekend when the big market happens which made this little town very lively. During the week things are more slow and there is less to do or see.

This is no fault of the accomodation, but we came here to see the pyramids on the top of the hill - they are currently closed due to a fire that happened some time ago and nobody was able to tell us how long this will be closed - could be months. So, if you're going there for the pyramids, you might want to reconsider this and maybe visit another city instead. We wanted to visit the waterfalls instead, but they didn't let us there either due to recent fires - they are apparently very small or close to non-existent at the moment due to lack of rain. Otherwise, the town is super cute, small and surrounded by hills and is a good way to know how small towns in Mexico are.

the place itself was nice and peaceful but the neighborhood was a little less quiet, roosters, dogs and trucks. there is nothing the hosts could have done to change than. It wasnt too bad but would have been nicer with less noisy neighbors

The bed was very comfortable. The staff was helpful in securing taxi rides when I needed to go longer distances.

I didn't feel as warmly welcome here as I have in other hotels and towns. The location is quite a distance, uphill, to finding restaurants. No morning coffee available.

Disappointed. nice family & garden but room not my taste.

Wonderfully full of plants on the balcony and garden and with visiting hummingbirds. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the single table in the garden. massage room looks nice (but did not try it). Nice hot shower and comfy bed. Covid protocols and cleaning very good.

I had high expectations based on reviews but didn’t feel at home here: I checked out after one night even tho I’d paid for two. - no proper curtains just net ones so no way to make room dark nor to feel privacy: the window is on to a corridor where people walk past to go to the massage room or other room . I felt v exposed . - room a bit cluttered and kitch to be restful (net curtains, plastic flowers, too much random artwork). This is v personal , as I prefer rustic/simple. - overpowered by the smell of floral disinfectant and air freshener (which was perhaps trying to mask the drain smell from the shower). -toilet seat was (sponge-covered-with-plastic ), cracked so both uncomfortable to sit on and the sponge was wet. I recommend they give their guests feedback forms to help get info about what people appreciate or what could be improved.

The bedroom and the bathroom were clean. The location is useful to visit the city and close to the locals shop. Staff harmful and really helpful. The plus of the journey is that the bed were so huuuuge :)
