The host was lovely. Made certain exceptions for us and was very courteous. These houses are ideal for people who want to spend their days out and about exploring its right on the Wild atlantic way so theres no excuse for sitting inside.this is our 2nd time staying. Will be back

The location was good, the place was immaculately clean and the host seemed pleasant, though we had very little dealings with them. Had just about all the basics but nothing else.
There were claims of wifi. While there was technically a wifi connection, it was basically unusable for any modern website. Speed tests showed 2 to 3mbs on a good day. Wouldn't have been a problem apart from there was also no phone reception with our network. Had to drive down the road to book cinema or attraction tickets or look basic things up on google maps. 1gb fibre is available at the property, so this just isn't acceptable at this price.
States on ad on booking.com that tennis court AND equipment is provided, then the welcome book states no equipment is provided on arrival. The net was broken and almost on the ground, so I had to make a temporary repair myself and then go buy tennis equipment. The chain link fences enclosing the courts is in disrepair, and balls kept getting lost due to it being neglected. Plenty of places to fall through and get injured too.
All 3 children were stung by the vast amounts of nettles growing in the completely unmaintained and overgrown garden of our house. If you plan on using the house for anything other than sleeping and making breakfast, I couldn't recommend it.
Place is in desperate need of modernisation, and outside is in total disrepair. Honestly, we were disappointed when it didn't match photos on here or our expectations. Had a great holiday other than this thankfully.
I didn't feel it was worth addressing with host at the property. They weren't going to be able to fix the garden, courts or the wifi or any other issues during our stay so just want other people to be informed as of what to expect when they are booking.
