Solid simple clean place, great location

The host was lovely. Made certain exceptions for us and was very courteous. These houses are ideal for people who want to spend their days out and about exploring its right on the Wild atlantic way so theres no excuse for sitting inside.this is our 2nd time staying. Will be back

Lovely spot for a chilled out break!

Really good communication with the host Aisling, she had lots of recommendations for us and answered all questions I had. Very pet friendly with the lovely Rossylongan forest just down the road.

WiFi unusable, poor phone reception, clean inside, poorly maintained outside, needs modernisation.

The location was good, the place was immaculately clean and the host seemed pleasant, though we had very little dealings with them. Had just about all the basics but nothing else.

There were claims of wifi. While there was technically a wifi connection, it was basically unusable for any modern website. Speed tests showed 2 to 3mbs on a good day. Wouldn't have been a problem apart from there was also no phone reception with our network. Had to drive down the road to book cinema or attraction tickets or look basic things up on google maps. 1gb fibre is available at the property, so this just isn't acceptable at this price. States on ad on booking.com that tennis court AND equipment is provided, then the welcome book states no equipment is provided on arrival. The net was broken and almost on the ground, so I had to make a temporary repair myself and then go buy tennis equipment. The chain link fences enclosing the courts is in disrepair, and balls kept getting lost due to it being neglected. Plenty of places to fall through and get injured too. All 3 children were stung by the vast amounts of nettles growing in the completely unmaintained and overgrown garden of our house. If you plan on using the house for anything other than sleeping and making breakfast, I couldn't recommend it. Place is in desperate need of modernisation, and outside is in total disrepair. Honestly, we were disappointed when it didn't match photos on here or our expectations. Had a great holiday other than this thankfully. I didn't feel it was worth addressing with host at the property. They weren't going to be able to fix the garden, courts or the wifi or any other issues during our stay so just want other people to be informed as of what to expect when they are booking. .

The WiFi is not great, could be improved. Also the foliage around the house is quite dense and blocks a lot of light from the rooms, if it was cut back a little , the house wouldn’t be so dark inside.

Perhaps, at least one water mixer, better - all, would add a lot to a comfort - tradition is good, but it is well into 21-st century already. Wi-Fi needs to be improved.

The property was well maintained and clean. A lovely friendly note left by the owner. Great location and only minutes from the town and a lovely forest walk. Great for pets and our little dog especially loved the treats that were left. Our young boy loved the tennis courts .

Mistake made in rating and the property should be 8/10 . We are not downing the property but a few recommendations, a smart tv to connect with modern day programming , stronger wi fi as it kept buffering and we only had one child. A possible upgrade of the sofa to allow for relaxing in the evening .

The location was super! Close to Donegal & mountcharles and a short drive from killybegs with a forest walk and beach a short walk away! Perfect for the kids & the dog. Close to everything but far enough away that it was very peaceful. The house itself was homey and clean! 100% would stay again!

We had a lovely stay and can recommend the place

We did not meet the host, however she was most helpful prior to our arrival and made sure we have every piece of information we needed and some more. She even accommodated our arrival on Christmas day, which we really appreciate. The place itself is very quiet and away from the town and road noise. The house is equipped with everything anyone would need for a longer stay. The town is couple of minutes drive away from the house, and the county itself is worth discovering, especially the Wild Atlantic Way.

The wireless connection does not really meet today's standard. Also the hot water in the en-suite shower for some reason is lukewarm compared to other hot taps in the house

The cottage was spotlessly clean and well kitted out with everything we needed during our stay. The beds were comfortable. The host was very friendly and gave good recommendations for places to visit.

The sitting room suite was a little uncomfortable. This is a very minor issue. It would not stop me booking the cottage again.

Handy location to explore donegal

The house was very clean and had very comfortable beds! the hosts were only a txt away which was handy for questions. the location was very good, only 5 minute drive from donegal town. It wouldn't be the safest road to walk at night but I was driving all weekend so it worked out perfectly.

I couldn't fault the place we had a great stay! I did find it very dark at night time tho, we were in house number 1 so it was right in the corner and was pitch black going back at night time, a little sensor light or street light would of been handy.
