Honeymoon highlights in La Morra

From our first encounter with the staff, I knew we were in good hands. Friendly, and welcoming we were greeted as if our arrival was anticipated with joy. Marina ( spelling? ), and Gabriella ( spelling? ) got us settled in, and began our orientation to the property, and surrounding towns. I had requested a very. Special bottle of wine to be opened, and awaiting our arrival… and it was !! The aroma permeated the room as we entered. A welcome glass of perfectly aged wine to begin this leg of our honeymoon journey! Breathtaking views were shrouded in fog in the early morning, but gorgeous views were revealed later in the day. Despite the rainy cool weather, the staff assisted us with some plans to make the most of our days there. Jayne, and Roberto, the Inn managers were so outgoing no eger to help us with any additional plans. They even went so far as to retrieve my cell phone I inadvertently left at a restaurant the evening before. While we were out on a wine tour of the Barolo region, they made arrangements to get my phone and leave it in our room for our return. A. True gem, with genuinely kind people ensuring our stay was top notch!

Very scenic area. The hospitality was wonderful

The location, the food & the staff were great.

The duplex structure was a bit difficult to manage with the luggage etc. Also it was quite hot in the afternoons but the AC was switched off maybe due to the season.

Superb hotel with great location and staff

The location is superb. Set in the middle of the vineyard with beautiful views over the valley. Simply stunning. Walking distance to Barollo and La Morra. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the wine tasting. The best thing we did whilst there. Breakfast was delicious.

The dinner at the restaurant was incredible. Totally recommend that as well as the wine pairings as experience. Location is brilliant, right by the vineyards. The room was great and very comfortable. Quite fun to be able to enjoy a steam room in your own bathroom!

Just a pass on this visit but with potential...

I wish I could provide a higher rating for our stay but a few elements let the experience down. Firstly a highlight. The welcome to the hotel was friendly and genuine. The same young man who welcomed us to the hotel served us at breakfast and was charming. Now to the less positive aspects of the stay. The suite we reserved was one of the worst rooms we've stayed in at this price point. The downstairs room looked immediately over the swimming pool and was probably just 2m away. It was like sitting in a fish bowl. It was impossible to open the curtains without a complete loss of privacy so they were kept shut, just the way we found them on arrival. Despite there being a sofa downstairs the TV was upstairs. So unless you wanted to watch TV only in bed you couldn't. (The TV didn't work, I assume the batteries in the remote were flat). The shower was poorly designed and flooded the floor. The rain shower was badly designed and unless you're a mountain climber access to the bath is virtually impossible for an older person. For an architect designed room it totally missed the mark. Diner was in a lovely setting. I never like it when a waiter prefers to choose your wine rather than hand you the wine list. Without making a scene we let him do so. Of course when we got the account on checking out I expect the cost of the wine selected for us was on the higher side of the choices available. It was fine but not anything special for the price. Similarly for a renowned food region the breakfast was just ok but certainly nothing special. It could have been so much better and indeed other places we stay at around the area are. So all in all we score our stay a pass only. The room is not an easy fix - it needs to be screened off from the pool area. The other issues are more easily resolved.

Nice and quiet with few guests Staff were amazing Great location to visit the surrounding towns Pool was lovely and welcome on hot days

Breakfast was not great,fruit and pastries could be improved The room didn’t work for us,too close to the pool and had to have curtains closed the whole time,downstairs shower and bath were a bit over the top Couldn’t utilise the seating area as you felt like you were either sitting in the dark or sitting in the bathroom

Fantastic, luxurious, great value

Staff were awesome. Breakfast was full and delicious. Location was superb, right between Barolo and La Morra, both beautiful medieval villages. Great access to any kind of winery - big, small, family, exporter. Access to ebikes was a great facilitation for our activities.

Beautiful luxury hotel

Amazing hotel in a perfect location near Barolo. The suite was beautiful and luxurious, comfortable in every way and even had a steam room in it. They have a fine dining restaurant which was wonderful. The beds were super comfortable and they use fine linens. There is a hot tub with an incredible view that we enjoyed. You can't go wrong with this choice.

The drive up to the hotel is on a narrow road, but we got used to it quickly.

Beautiful location. Fantastic restaurant and of course, the wine. Amazing view and kind staff.

The suite we stayed in was structured in a way that the bathroom is upstairs but did not have the shower/tub. The shower alone was downstairs and the ceiling of the shower was open to the second floor, which I thought was weird and inconvenient. Once I got over that it was all good.

interesting designed resort in the middle of the Cerequio vineyards… Staff were the kindest and tended to our every need… fantastic views and a nice relaxing pool as well…Also the attached chapel was perfect for us during Holy Week!

Lovely place to stay for couples with great views over the vineyards, very near La Morra and Barolo

Very friendly hosts, offer transfer out to nearby La Morra. Beautiful view over the hills of the Barolo. Informative and good wine tasting available. Dining option at the hotel is fantastic, fresh produce and great cuisine. There was a technical issue with availability of warm water during our stay which was not the hosts fault, but the host offered a discount to compensate for any inconvenience, which was appreciated.

Access to the property through the vineyards is partially unpaved and leaves cars pretty dusty/dirty, but this is quite common in the area (also when visiting other restaurants in the vineyards) and due to being world heritage site the road needs to remain untouched/unpaved. There was a technical issue with availability of warm water during our stay which was not the hosts fault, but the host offered a discount to compensate for any inconvenience which was appreciated.

The best highlight of our stay in the Langhe region

Roberto and Jane made us feel at home at the lovely hotel which is stylish and comfortable at the same time. Breakfast has a good sample consider how boutique this hotel is. My daughter loved the Nutella machine. My first time staying in a room that has your own steam room which was pretty amazing. Free bottle of wine for our stay. Cellar within the hotel did not disappoint - guided by Roberto on the tasting which we learnt so much about the local terrain, and we were able to take our own time in the cellar to finish off our tasting. The ability to roll back into bed with a sweeping view of the vineyard was exactly what we wish for! Definitely one of our best stays in record - we are frequent travellers in Asia and Europe. We wish we could stay here for longer to enjoy the restaurant and the pool.

Beautiful place! highly recommend!

100% recommend! it’s a beautiful place! I loved our room that might have been one of the cheapest options, it was big and very comfortable! hopefully we will come back one day!

The staff could be more smiley, they were nice but i didn’t feel the warmth as the places gaves us. Tho big cred to of the ladies, she was kind and lovely!
