Clean room, helpful stuff and nice breakfast

I arrived at very late hour to check in due to train delays for more than 3 hours, though the hotel was closed but neighbour contacted them then they came to let me come in and check in. Though I didn’t mention my kids during reservations, they were kind and understandable to offer me 3 beds room without extra fee. Sometimes I arrive late for breakfast after due hour but they were kind to welcome us. When we complained the cold inside the room especially with no carbets, they showed quick support to fix heating and bring carbets for both rooms.

Having break fast in a different building is a new experience but it wasn’t annoying, it was okay!

ridiculously expensive for a very disappointing stay

Breakfast was ok - the only thing that was.

it’s not a hotel. it’s at best some sort of rooms to rent. we paid a ridiculous amount of money - 150 Euro - to stay in a shabby two-room apartment in an apartment building 500 meters away from the breakfast place. no tea or coffee in the apartment, all extremely drab. the owner or whatever he was was extremely brusque, verging on rude. Northern hospitality full-on. 150 euros for this is beyond ridiculous. 50 euro would have made it still disappointing, but at least closer to the mark… Don’t do it.

Great value, easy to find, HUGE newly renovated bathroom.

We didn’t realize we would be staying in a different building than where we checked in. We were quite nearby - just around the corner - and it was easy to find but it was a little surprise after cycling 90km to arrive and learn we had a little further to go.

Wouldn't recommend.

There was no 'free parking'. The Hotal has no parking spaces available you just need to drive around the streets hoping for a space and they are not free. My wife had a maggot in her breakfast from the fish salad they put out, absolutely disgusting, obviously we didn't eat anything more and just wanted to leave, the guy didn't even appologise, his attitude was an absolute joke. He wanted to charge us the standard amount including 18 euros for 'breakfast' and when we complained he said he couldn't remove the breakfast charge. I asked to see the manager and refused to pay for breakfast and he lied about the manager not being in Germany. Only after I got angry did he reduce the bill by 10 euros. Very bad experience. The room was also freezing cold.

An overpriced hotel with unprofessional staff. keep it as your last choice.

The hotel is strategically located in the heart of the city, within walking distance from university, main place, harbour and museums. The breakfast was rich with local products, namely smoked and cured fish, as well as with some international varieties such as cheese, yogurt, granola and fruits.

One staff's attitude was particularly repulsive. I have been very irritated when I called in advance to ask about accessing the hotel at night, and he started saying things like "don't you know what is right side in your country?". Also, on the second morning of my stay, when I went downstairs for breakfast, one staff (maybe the same) literally shouted on me in front of all the guests as I tried to sit on a table for 4 instead of a smaller table. This is definitely not the kind of welcoming behaviour I expect when I am staying at a hotel. To note that the rooms as relatively small, with old (holed) beddings and very uncomfortable mattresses.

Wir lagen in voller Kleidung in den Betten.

Lage , Frühstück und Zimmer waren im Prinzip gut für den Preis.

Die Wohnung war angesichts des kalten Wetters stark durchkühlt bei unserer Ankunft. Die Heizung war vor dem Bezug zu spät aktiviert worden und zu niedrig eingestellt., wahrscheinlich weil in einem Zimmer der Thermostatkopf fehlte, und somit das Ventil ganz öffnete. daher der Versuch die Temperatur über deie Einstellung des Heizkessels zu regeln. Das Duschwasser hätte auch wärmer sein müssen.

Nun... nicht für dieses Geld, leider. Das hat auch nichts mit altem Charme zutun.

Die Lage

Mitarbeiter leider sehr ungepflegt, aber Freundlich. Eher eine Pension für Handwerker. Übernachtungspreis eher im 30-50 Euro Segment, nicht über 100.-Euro. Zimmer veraltet, spärliche Ausstattung, Daunenkopfkissen, muffiger Geruch, Dusche/Bad sehr beengt. W-Land Passwort keine Funktion, dies war natürlich nicht schlimm, jeder hat ja Mobile Daten. Fernseher nicht zu gebrauchen, verwinkelt an der Wand, komplettes Durcheinander bei den Programmen..

Das Frühstück war überraschend reichhaltig und lecker. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, fußläufig 10Minuten vom Deich.

Wer das Bedürfnis nach einer Zeitreise in die 60er verspürt kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Gerade die Betten sind auf Grund ihrer Beschaffenheit bestens für spannende Filme geeignet, allein was den akustischen Anspruch betrifft. Bzgl. Badezimmer-Größe kann es bei volldchlanken Persönlichkeiten zu depressiven Stimmungsschwankungen kommen.

Gute Lage - Abzüge bei Ausstattung und Komfort

Ein sehr sympathisches, schon etwas älteres Personal, sehr bemüht. Das Einchecken erfolgt in einem ehemaligen Gastraum mit alter, sehr heimeliger Einrichtung, viele Seehafen-typische Bilder - dort kann man sich durchaus wohlfühlen. Sehr gute Lage, fußläufig zu den bekannten Attraktionen am Hafen. Gutes Frühstück.

Die Zimmer in den oberen Etagen im Hauptgebäude sind nur über eine relativ steile und für ältere Menschen mit Gepäck nur mühselig zu bewältigende Treppe zu erreichen. Bei der Buchung unbedingt nachfragen ! Die Betten haben schon jüngere Tage gesehen und die Nasszelle war wirklich eine: kaum dass die Toilettenschüssel und eine enge Duschkabine darin Platz gefunden haben. Die kleinste Einheit, die ich seit langem gesehen habe. Ob es im Nebengebäude besser aussieht ? Parken vor dem Hotel mit Glück möglich. Insgesamt ist der Preis für die Leistung etwas zu hoch.

Ein sauberes Bett mit Frühstück

Einfach aber sehr sauber in den Zimmern. Sehr großes und geräumiges Bad. Frühstück gut. Eierspeisen werden frisch zubereitet Personal kümmert sich. Betten in Ordnung.

Wir waren im Nebengebäude Hier ist das Treppenhaus sehr abgewohnt und alt. Das ganze nimmt auch die Nase auf. Die Zimmer hingegen sind mit Fließenboden Bad und Vinyl Boden Schlafraum ausgestattet. Recht neu und sauber.
