Guesthouse Nara Komachi

Very friendly receptionist, games in the common area. The receptionist moved our luggage into our room as we arrived early/

It was a bit a weird bathroom for a dorm where you have non tinted glass for the shower/toilet so the one who sleeps can see the other one going to the toilet. 1 side of it was already fixed. It would have been good to fix the other half. The bed was a bit hard. Only a hint; it might be worth advertising that crackers for the deer sell out early and they are for sale in 1 vending machine at the other side of the park, a couple of km's walking. Or even better, sell some yourself. We waited till 4.30PM to feed and all vendors were gone.

Lovely place to stay. The room had Tatami mat flooring. The owners were so nice and helped us out when we had to use the telephone, and even spoke for us. The facilities are great for the price-quality. The location was very close to the JR train station and not so far from the main attractions in Nara. Definitely would stay here again!

The bed was a bit hard for me, but my partner liked it.

The room was very traditional Japanese which made it such a unique and cool place to stay. The shared kitchen has everything you could possibly need and worked out well. You could also make tea in your room if you wanted to stay in and relax. It was so beautiful that it was one of the best places we stayed. The room is smaller, we had 4 people so it was a little tight, but we already knew that before coming and they do make the very most of the space. I’d definitely stay again!!!

They kept the common area very, very warm, the heat was set to 27C which meant that even though it was warm outside at 25C they had the heat on in the common area to heat it up to 27C. They did turn it down to 25C when I asked,
