Deer hostel

The hostel is set up more like a home than your average hostel. The living spaces and kitchen had all of your usual house hold utilities and all were accessible. I contacted the property before arriving that I would be arriving late and they ensured me a room that would accommodate not just myself but other people staying as well. They were very kind and understanding and clearly care for the experience of those who choose to stay with them. On my way out there was also a mother deer and baby deer just hanging out so that's when you know you're truly in Nara.

I didn't dislike anything. The only thing I would make note of is that the bathrooms are VERY small but as a solo traveler, it's just part of the experience. Everything was still clean and useable.

It was 5 minutes from the train station 5 minutes walk to the busy streets for shopping

The kitchen vas very small, only 3 small plates 1 frying pan. 1 Saucepan lots of cups there’s only room for one person in the kitchen at at time, the bathroom was about 4 feet by 3 feet there’s not a lot of room if you’re a big person

I’ve been here before so everything was awesome.

The people or visitors did not turned off the bathroom’s lights when are not in use 🥹😅

The bed was comfortable and offered privacy. The location is good and the common area is cozy.

I booked a four bed mixed dorm room by mistake (the booking option was misleading because the pictures did not match the discription). One of the people in the room snored so loud that I could not sleep. The bathroom alocated to us was very dirty and the staff was not really friendly.
