Wonderful historic house in the heart of Mostar. This really is a special place to stay. The staff Gabriela, Merima and Mr Musabegovic were all very friendly and helpful, the house is a part of Mostar's historic past and you also get a taste of the Ottoman culture (shoes must be removed indoors for example). The room was small but very comfortable and clean. A tour of the house and explanation of it's past is included as part of the stay. Good breakfast with an offering for everyone. It has a beautiful garden and courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast. I loved it here!
We loved everything but some things to be aware of:
- It's not good place to stay for people with mobility issues due to the steps and the historic courtyard.
- The house is historic so the rooms are small, there is not a lot of space for luggage so consider this if you will have big cases or lots of luggage.

An absolutely fantastic accommodation in a fabulous location. Just minutes from the old town center and the bridge. Friendly staff. If you ever wanted to spend a night at the museum - that is it! Highly recommended!

The staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and attentive. They met me at the gate, got me into my room, gave me a tour of the house's museum, and also stayed for awhile one evening to have a long chat about every topic. I appreciated how close the hotel was to the old town of Mostar - about a 10 min. walk to the Old Bridge and the restaurants and shops. About a 5 min. walk to a coffee shop and grocery store. The hotel itself is a beautiful, historic house complex. I stayed in the repurposed stable area, above the little courtyard. Breakfast could be eaten inside in the dining area or out on the courtyard. The smell of roses and jasmine was everywhere, even in October! Breakfast was tasty, with a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruits, hardboiled eggs, small omelets, burek, yogurt, muesli and coffee/tea. Other guests were also very friendly, and we chatted over breakfast. As a solo traveler, it's a gorgeous place to stay, historical, and everyone seemed willing to chat and get to know you. For those coming by bus or train to Mostar, it's about a 12-15 minute walk straight down from the station and up a little hill. Not a hard walk with minimal luggage.

The warmth of the owner Mr.Musilbegovic and the wonderful manager Gabi.
It was a piece of Bosnian history. A three hundred year old national monument that survived the war. One of the few remaining private houses from the age of Ottoman Bosnia.
Also, breakfast was wonderful 😀!
