Shangri La Mansion

Great location and super cute hotel! The guy running the hotel was very friendly and helpful. He gave us great recommendations for exploring the city and was super kind.

Everything was great!

The owner was a true gentleman helped us out with taxis and places to eat etc the property had a terrace with fantastic views really clean place as well taxi can go right outside property

The only issue was it was on a slight hill so people with mobility issues need to be aware saying that I had arthritis in my feet but still managed

The property was a small little mansion in heart of Mostar old town. The roof top was overlooking Mostar.stunning view. The property was spotless clean and elegantly decorated.

The facilities were limited.

Staff was very friendly, room was very clean.

The rooms were a little dated compared to the other hotels we’ve stayed at on our trip and pretty expensive. We were required to repeatedly flush the toilet to get rid of the solid waste. We also couldn’t reduce the cold air being produced by the air conditioning unit and was required to shut off the system before going to bed. Sort of crazy when the temperature during the day was in the mid-30s. As a result, the room was extremely hot by 3 am and had to turn it on again. Finally, the host was very kind to assist in organizing a taxi but the driver did not arrive at the agreed time so we were required to start walking to the bus station to prevent us from missing our bus. The taxi driver wasn’t apologetic and then was expecting us to still pay the full fare for a 2 minute ride (15 Euros). Just not a pleasant experience. The hotel should reconsider hiring him in the future. This was our 5th hotel on our trip through the Balkans and definitely presented the most challenges. Not terrible but just not that positive an experience for the price. Sorry….
