The reception area was warm and cozy.. in the evening after lovely dinner, there was live music in the reception area and lovely fire in the center of the reception area kept us warm and cozy.

Wi-Fi could have been better.

Beautiful location and very friendly staff. The view from the outdoor pool during sunset is amazing! The spa facilities are clean, fancy and large enough.

Nothing, we loved it!

This hotel is the definition of relaxation with the most beautiful views you could ask for. Amazing staff and hospitality,reception and restaurant team went out of their way to please and serve. Lobby is lovely. We had the suite with 2 children and had lots of room, felt like an apartment. It was my daughter’s birthday and I asked for some balloons, and the staff had our room decorated completely above my expectations. Pool and spa feels like heaven

Beds and pillows are a bit soft

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Saigerhöh. The staff were kind and welcoming, and we received a choice of welcome drinks in the lobby at check-in, which was a lovely touch. Parking outside is free and there is plenty of space. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfectly fitting for a stay in the Black Forest. The views over the valley and forest are absolutely beautiful. Our room was huge. It included a separate seating area like a small living room, a walk-in closet that easily fit all our luggage, and a modern, stylish bathroom that felt newly renovated. The rest of the room was more traditional in design, in line with the Black Forest style. We also enjoyed a ground-level terrace and a stunning view of the green valley. Breakfast was very good, with a relatively wide selection for Europe – fresh vegetables, cheeses, breads, eggs, and more. The dining room overlooks the valley, and the combination of the beautiful view and the peaceful atmosphere made the mornings especially enjoyable. It’s worth noting that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, but there is heating. We stayed at the end of August, and the weather was cool enough that we even turned the heating on one evening, so this was not a problem. As a lovely final touch, we were given a bottle of local wine at checkout, which left us with a very warm impression of the hotel.

The main downside was the somewhat outdated room décor, though this may simply be part of the regional style. It would also have been nice to have a mini-fridge and coffee/tea-making facilities in the room – even a kettle would make a big difference. A complimentary bottle of water was provided, which we appreciated.

We love our stay -every member of the team was so friendly and helpful. Fantastic service throughout our stay. Food was excellent.

you have everything you need, so much to do in the wellness but also the facilities and to enjoy the time with family/friends. I loved that you have different areas in the wellness, saunas, food supply area with fruit, water, thee.. the panorama pool but also the inside pool, you can order cocktails everywhere. Play billiard, ping pong, card games in the reception with a cozy cheminee.. Whatelse you need? I’ve been there for the 3rd time and always enjoyed fully. And not to forget: the food is also delicious, dinner time is always nice and tasty. Not to mention the breakfast. Amazing omelette and salty/sweet choice. Crispy and salty bacon. Love it ❤️ The highlight though are the people working there. Ever since I have visited Saigerhöh I have seen the same, lovely and sunny people. This is a good signs!

some parts do be renewed like the room. But you can notice that whey are working hard on it. The bathroom for instance was pretty new.

We were immediately greeted by reception staff and given a welcome drink as we looked over spa and menu options, then informed we were given a free upgrade on our room (perks of early season!). I really wish i could remember the name of the gentlemen who checked us in, he was so nice and helpful. He gave us a tour of the facilities before showing us to our room. He even personally delivered spa shoes to our room when i said i would be coming by the front desk to rent some. The pools and saunas were amazing! For those who might feel uncomfortable in traditional saunas, you can wear your swimsuit in the outdoor sauna. The breakfast was great! So many options for all types of dietary needs. Plenty of plant milks, butter, breads, jams, juices, etc. we definitely enjoyed breakfast! We had only booked one night, but decided to stay one more because we enjoyed our time there so much. Another staff member (her name might've been Crista or Caitlin? Started with a C) was also incredibly kind and helped influence our decision to stay another night. When you have so many positive interactions with the staff, it truly can make a difference. I won't be forgetting those beautiful views any time soon and hope i get the chance to return in the future and take advantage of the massage services!

I was bummed that there weren't any vegan dinner options, since the hotel is so big on being green. Though you can contact ahead of time to arrange special diets.

Wonderful heated pool. Excellent breakfast. Spacious and quiet room. Excellent view.
