Prie Marių Nida

The room had a nice balcony, and the breakfast was really great. The manager was very helpful with suggestions about local restaurants and things to do.

Breakfast cost extra, but it was better than excellent. There was complimentary beer and prosecco in the room, a beach towel.

It was a bit further from the town centre than other options.

Staff is very kind and very friendly, in a genuine way. Right during reception we sat down, and was given a map with the location of relevant places, and tips what to see and do, including a boat ride. Location is excellent, parking on location, water view, near the Thomas Mann house. Lovely nature around and water side promenade towards Nida. The room is spacious, classy look, and well appointed. Welcome drinks in the fridge. The breakfast is a buffet, and tasty, though it is bit more on the health-conscious side of things with plenty fruit and veggies. The pancakes with cheese and ham were made to order and delicious.

Only one very minor "nit pick" would be that the bedside lamp had a cool white bulb, and the lamp shade didn't really cover it if you were standing and walking about.

We had a really great stay at Prie Marių in Nida. The location is perfect for those looking for calm, less crowded surroundings right on the shore of the Curonian Lagoon, while still being within a pleasant walking distance to Nida center and not too far from the seaside beaches. Parking was very convenient, just outside the hotel. Our room on the second floor was spacious, modern, minimalist, and very clean, with a comfortable bed (not too hard and not too soft) and a balcony facing directly towards the lagoon — the views were amazing. The bathroom was also spotless and well maintained. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating to our requests. Overall, a wonderful experience and definitely a place we would recommend!

The only small note is that the hotel is a little outside the very center, but for us this was actually part of the charm, especially with the beautiful 15–20 minute walk or 5 min bike ride along the lagoon.
