I would whole heartedly recommend a stay at this wonderful property!

This is a lovely, relaxing place which is exceptionally cared for, from the beautiful grounds to each interior space, sleeping rooms and public rooms alike. The bed was very comfortable and with black out curtains and no noise from anywhere, I slept beautifully. Each and every staff member , from Hannes the general manger to Roland at reception, has been exceedingly kind and helpful. I feel pampered and relaxed. The breakfast buffet has an enormous assortment of choices for any appetite and was very tasty. The pasta dish I had last evening was also very good. I chose to extend me stay here because I was having such an enjoyable visit.

Awesome!

This is a gem of a place close to the center of town, really enjoyed our stay here! The breakfast is a really nice spread and the evening meal is great value with €35 per head, never left feeling hungry. Plenty of parking and bike cellar. Room was clean and comfy and with a fridge but I think what really makes it, is the staff, they are awesome!

Traced back in time very boutique ,oppulent and under an outstanding management reflecting on the service of their very well trained staff adding up to indulging g in a one time experience of Tirol hospitality. Nestled in beautiful gardens very old trees and a wonderful swimming pool with mountain peaks on the horizon. It’s almost a journey going back in time in a very well kept building gaining you that unique home-feeling Good sumptuous breakfast in very historical setting Price /value excellent Definitely would go back again for a next time in Merano We have traveled the world extensively and Hotel Bavaria is an address to remember Gracias por todo

very old room and doesn’t deserve this money I have paid , I have chosen superior double room , to have as a maximum comfort bed ( is very important to me ) , room , etc , but wasn’t big difference ( as I understood) btw standard and superior, any difference except sofa front of the bed…. , plus thé Bathroom has a problem with the water , is getting out to the floor all the water what was in the bath ,when I wanted emptied the tub …. I put there many towels on the floor, just not “ to swim “ while I was sleeping , also the breakfast very poor , really didn’t like at all . only staff was extremely nice and helpful, that’s all thank you

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff who really care for their guests

The hotel is absolutely stunning in every aspect and totally exceeded our experience. Fantastic rooms, excellent location - very central but also quite privat and quiet for a good night’s sleep - and incredibly attentive, helpful and friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Even afterwards: we left a bag full of little souvenirs and gifts in the room which was sent to our home address and had arrived by the time we came back from our holidays. We can’t recommend Thai place highly enough and are already looking forward to coming back for a longer stay (unfortunately only two nights last time). We felt extremely relaxed there and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere at the hotel.

Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Central and still quiet location. I liked the veranda for breakfast with the garden in front.

Old school key instead of a key card to open the door. The staircase was dangerously slippery with shoes wet from rain.

Superb

A beautiful hotel situated in an amazing garden. Palm trees, flowers and the chirping of the birds. Outdoor swimming pool which was perfect due to the 34c temperature. An eight minute walk into Meran along a winding river without a car in sight. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very high level of hygiene. We enjoyed a five course menu each evening. It was varied and of the highest quality and very good value for money. It was a highlight of our trip. I do not write comments about my holidays often but in this case I thought it important. Hotel Bavaria is a wonderful hotel for relaxation fine dining and great service.

I stayed at the hotel for one night only on a business trip. My room was clean with a brand new bathroom and a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The breakfast was very nice with a wide range of sweet and savory food

A fantastic hotel for a mountain getaway

The facilities of the Hotel are very well kept and spacious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and when we decided not to have house keeping one day, they called us check if that was what we wanted. Breakfast was great and afternoon drinks during Happy Hour with a selection of appetisers was a great touch. Location is perfect, not directly in the center of town but easy walk 6-8 Minute beautiful walk to the center so area is relatively peaceful but still close to the heart of the action.

L'albergo è di fatto una meravigliosa villa con parco. A disposizione anche un ristorante aperto al pubblico. Mi sono trovata molto bene, il personale è gentile e simpatico. La mia camera era piccola ma l'avevo scelta io, per esigenze di lavoro, mi bastava così.

Consiglio di mettere a disposizione per la colazione anche un pò di pane per i celiaci, gallette di riso e prodotti adeguati a chi soffre di intolleranze. Magari le avevano di scorta ma non erano segnalate. Per il resto tutto bene.
