Great place to stay with minimal issues.

We loved the homey feel and spacious area! Kitchen had everything we needed and we loved having our own private bathroom. The home itself was gorgeous and the scenery was simply amazing. The hosts checked in on us via messages and that was nice! We loved the little fireplace :)

The small spiders in our room and the kettle needed to be cleaned really badly or possibly a new one. It had a thick film inside of water depositm. But I had a pot to boil water so it was ok! The road getting in was quite bad with potholes. I'm use to bumpy roads living in Spain but this was pretty bad. The washing machine was broken but not a deal breaker.

Great stay away with family.

It is a private place where you feel safe when arriving. Lot space in the sitting room and kitchen you can cook ur own food . We had a shower and toilet in the room. Couldn't hear neighbours in next rooms we just meet them in kitchen .

Lovely location. They talk about a hot tub but it is more towards the camping area and it was too cold for us to go over there and swim. It was an easy spot. Go eat at the hotel in town on Main Street- most delicious meal we had!

Location

The water in jacuzzi is dirty and smells like gas. Very oily water because of the gas. We asked the staff if they could change the water but he said they couldn’t. And we didnt expect the outdoor pool to be a pond.

A promising event space which will work for couples

The Limehouse at Rock Farm Slane was perfect for our first night in Eire. We arrived around 7am and planned some serious site seeing during our first day: Bru Na Boinne. This is out of the ordinary for us, as we usually arrive later in the day and spend our time recovering from travel on the first day. We had midafternoon tickets to see Newgrange and so requested a bit early arrival at the property. They accommodate our request and we got perfectly easy to follow directions to do our own check-in. (We aren't always big on the whole check-in "experience". It's nice to have folks fawn over you once in a while, but - esp after international flights - it can be nice NOT to have folks to interact with. My wife and I are both introverts; so, the virtual check in was especially well appreciated!) They upgraded our room, which was really nice, too. The property could pack a serious punch for groups or events, but much of that extra "oomph" didn't really impact my wife and I on our one night stay, but it was nice to have some distance between our place and the real world. We slept great, but that was at least as much due to the overnight flight as anything else, but the accommodation definitely allowed us to get that good night's sleep. There was a great kitchen and dining area available, which was great for us and our DIY breakfast, but it would really be great for traveling groups.

Amazing property, very comfortable stay. Could be cleaner!

The space! Rooms were large and comfortable and really suited us being a group of 2 adults and 3 teens! Swimming lake was really cool. The whole site was amazing. Plenty to do and only a short walk into town.

It was quite dirty. I found a used tissues behind my bedside table and there were silverfish all over we the bathroom at night. There were bulbs missing or they didn’t work. Also, no dustbin Im either of the bedrooms.

It was very nice to be able to get in late, our flight was delayed and the detailed instructions and easy access to the property made it easy. The farmhouse was just delightful!

We'll be back, because we loved it!

The rooms were so clean! The facility was great, very spacious. The grounds are amazing. The kids loved the pigs and we all plan to return here some time for a longer stay. Ideal location, close to Emerald Parc and excellent value for money. No hassle with check-in and staff were very friendly to help return a forgotten item.

If you want to do your own cooking, the pots and pans are very limited. I couldn't find any lid to fit on the big pasta pot... Other things like kettle, toaster etc. were all there and functional. Nice bit hog as well, just not enough suitable pots and pans.

A remote but beautiful spot

The house is very spacious, tastefully decorated, and clean. It's location is perfect for exploring the Boyne Valley, especially Bru na Boinne which is only a few miles away.

Because of flight delays at Dublin airport we arrived later than planned . It was dark and it was raining hard. We had not received the code for opening the electronic gate. Fortunately we were able to reach a security guard by phone who was able to open the gate. It was about half a mile along a wooded drive to the house. There was no-one there to welcome us or even tell us which rooms were assigned to us. We had understood from our correspondence that we would be able to purchase some farm produce to make a meal. It was too late to go out hunting for food. We did find tea and coffee in the kitchen but nothing at all to eat so we went to bed hungry. In such a remote location it would be kind to have a few staples on hand. This was our first night in Eire and we did not receive the kind of welcome we expect from a B&B.

Nice and romantic farm with great views and surroundings

Very comfortable rooms on a Farm near Slane. I'm sorry we haven't spent more time there as it would have been a pleasure. We've used the accommodation as a last stop on our Ireland road trip before leaving for airport next morning. If you're booking this apartment, it's worth staying a while too! Would gladly come again.

Loved the location, accommodation and value for money 🙂. Our room was very comfortable and the shared kitchen and living room were super.

We provided our own breakfast, location was perfect. The house surpassed our expectations. Bedrooms were a good size with everyroom having ensuite. Good lounging area and perfect size of communal area for a large group.

The drive way up to the house would need some attention due to the amount of pot holes.
