Very friendly, very customer oriented owner who gave us a lot of good tips for sightseeing and restaurants and made sure we felt welcome. Breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable. The location of the house in relation to the castle, the city and for sightseeing bei car was optimal.

We can only echo all the great reviews this guesthouse has already received. The room was spacious and super comfy, whilst full of character. The ceiling fan and the aircon were very welcome. The view from the terrace could not be beaten and was a lovely place to eat breakfast or sit in the evening.
The location is also really convenient, placed as it is between the historic medieval fortress and the bars, shops, cafes and restaurants of the 'new town' (about 600 years old), all within easy walking distance. On arrival and departure we used the shuttle bus from the airport which dropped us off about 8 mins walk from the guesthouse.
The owner, Patrick, is very welcoming and does a lovely breakfast. He's very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and also gave us plenty of great restaurant recommendations.
We had such an easy, relaxing stay in Carcassonne, and would definitely recommend this guesthouse.
