Sur le quai

This place is the perfect location for a visit to Carcassonne with everything you could need in short walking distance. The hosts are brilliant, very helpful and friendly! Excellent breakfast freshly made each morning, served outside with views of the castle. We loved relaxing by the pool in the peace and quiet after a day exploring Carcassonne.

Great location, about 10 min walk from the main square and the medieval city, with an amazing view of the castle. Denise is the best host giving great recommendations for restaurants nearby and the breakfast each morning was so generous and absolutely delicious! The pool is great to cool off in especially visiting in the summer time and the rooms have great air conditions. Our room was so clean with a lovely big bathroom.

The room was large, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Plenty of space, very clean and quiet. I had a lovely night sleep.

Very convenient location and a fabulous host who prepared a lovely breakfast and gave me very useful tips for sightseeing and eating out.

Denise & Lulu could not do more to make us feel more welcome. The room was comfortable, very clean with a great shower and much needed air con in 30 degree heat. Breakfast under a parasol each morning with the castle view was delightful and delicious . Our only regret not sampling the owners’ wine , but there’s always a next time ! Sue le Quai is a peaceful and perfect location for exploring both walled city and the town and plenty of nearby eateries of such good quality . We had a superb first visit and loved Carcassonne!
