Good comfy bed and value for money

we have stayed before. the first thing we do is strip the bed and start again as they use the thickest duvets and it was very hot at the end of June. No AC. the road outside can be a bit noisy BUT it does quieten down later... the bed is very very comfy in fact 2 doubles pushed together so plenty of room. very good shower and nice sized bathroom. nice quiet room at the end of the corridor so no elevator noise or being disturbed by other guests which is great as we had the dog with us. very safe/plenty of room for parking. Good restaurants within walking distance - we will stay again and we do recommend - just 2 hours from Le shuttle too.

they use a lot of bedding..... so we just unmake and remake the bed to our liking

Disappointing hotel in a convenient location for the Avenue Vert.

On the Avenue Vert, friendly staff, excellent bike storage ( multiple Electric car charging too), good breakfast.

Lift broken, no coffee or tea making in the room ( but a machine was available downstairs). Towels were small and thin. Bedroom had few plugs. There was a restaurant in the sister hôtel a few minutes walk away which looked beautiful in the photos. It served a good choice of hot and cold food as a buffet. However, the experience was marred for us by consistent my poor staff service and attitudes. There are other restaurants in the town and my advice is to go there.

Understated little gem in a surprising town

The location and parking. Friendly, helpful staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Powerful, hot shower.

At breakfast the bread was exposed for everyone to touch whilst cutting it, which does not feel very hygienic. No dietary information available about allergens.

Quiet comfortable convenient and friendly

The space was v good. The ceiling high and good room size. Situation excellent for Aveue Verte cyclists . Lockable bike room. Good breakfast and we could make a picnic lunch for our days cycling. Bath had lots of hot water. There is a coffee machine in the breakfast room which does hot chocolate etc and this is essential as no kettle in the room. The garden view was nice.the windows open and it is quiet. The bed was comfortable.

It’s a little bit tired in places room furniture old and a bit sorry for its self. Coffee making in room would be good.

Great short stay in a lovely hotel

It’s in a lovely location near to the town and just off the Avenue Verte if you are cycling . They have good facilities for storing your cycles. Good choice of breakfast at the buffet .

Quaint and clean hotel with good parking in the back. The bubble bath and tempurpedic mattress was a nice surprise.. spacious room.

WiFi was not functioning at the time of our visit. Everything else was great.

Friendly staff, spacious room with a good breakfast.

Friendly reception staff, spacious room with garden view. Lovely breakfast room and breakfast. Lots of free private parking. We had dinner in the Casino Bistrot about 5 mins walk away, please be aware you need ID. We had a pleasant walk around the lake and saw lots of wild life.

the property was well placed and very clean with friendly reception staff

we booked breakfast and asked if our dog was allowed in the breakfast room, we were told yes, otherwise we wouldn’t have booked breakfast. when my husband brought our little dog to the table a member of staff came and told us no dogs were allowed and when we told her we asked at reception when we booked she shrugged and said sorry pointing at a small notice on the doors. As there is a supplement for your dog to stay and there was a dog in that area when we checked in the night before this spoilt our stay. This is the first hotel in France where this has happened.

Most enjoyable stay although too short.

The hotel is situated in a quiet location (other than the cockerel close by)😉. Lovely comfortable pillows. Our room was on the top floor and therefore ceilings sloped - only knocked my head on 2 occasions!! Breakfast was pleasant and coffee very nice. No restaurant on-site for evening meals, however the Casino/hotel is very close by and the grounds are stunning. Hotel La Continental is a short walk from the town which should not missed. Look forward to returning.

we won’t be booking again couldn’t book 2 nights at The Domaine hotel and hoped this was going to be ok however not so

it looks charming on the outside hoped it was similar to its sister hotel La Domaine de Forge sadly not ….

constant smell of cigarette smoke in the bedroom the room was tired and grubby expensive breakfast for what was provided no lounge bar/room service

No air conditioning, windows needed to be kept open. Very noisy from people leaving the casino at 3-4am. Lots of loud cars and people. Breakfast was basic.
