Warm hosts, ideal location and the most peaceful nights sleep ever!

Breakfast was lovely but some fresh fruit would have been delicious too. Room lovely and spacious and clean. Lovely addition of bottles of water and little sweets. Really peaceful location at the end of a quiet road.

Electric toilet so had quite a loud flush (worried about waking other guests in the night) and takes a bit of getting used to but all fine.

Comfortable, quiet accommodation with comfy beds and very friendly hosts.

Delicious breakfast including home made waffles! Thoughtful bottle of water for each guest in rooms. Extra towels and pillows available. Hosts very kind and friendly. Really quiet location. Easy to walk into town.

Corner bath was luxurious, but tricky to use shower head in bath without spraying water everywhere! Minor point though, the place was lovely!

Very friendly host

The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for us as it was about 100m off the Avenue Verte and the host was very happy to store cycles. A 5 min walk to the high street for dinner. Host served a very good breakfast with a mix of bread and pastries, yogurt, waffles and apple cake, together juices and coffee.

Being in the eaves meant it was quite hot in the room at all times and we kept the shutters closed for shade, but it was the middle of August, so to be expected. Matress a little lumpy, but given we were so tired, it didn't impeed sleep much.

An absolutely fabulous house and in such a lovely quiet location in a gorgeous little town Safe parking. Lovely breakfast and waffles to finish it off The lady was a pleasure to meet.

The only criticism would be that the wonderful big bath was extremely difficult for my wife to get out of without a large amount of help. A stand alone shower would be perfect.

A warm welcome from the host but our stay failed to live up to the promise.

The location was nice and quiet and the host was very welcoming. As I had a car loaded with luggage it was good to be able to park safely. The room was a good size and very pleasant.

The bedroom was very cold and we had to find the extra blanket to put on the bed. The shower on worked with the hand-held sprayer as the big overhead shower we were told not to use. There was a very big step to get in or out of the shower and extra care had to be taken getting out as my foot slipped in the shower before my other foot had reached the floor. The breakfast was rather basic. Also no tea / coffee making facilities in the room.

Breakfast was lovely with our host checking the night before so that she was prepared, we were offered different times to suit and a bonus was the lovely waffles, freshly prepared.

Location was great for access to both channel tunnel and/or SW France

VERY dated and a little basic given what we're used to but not expensive and so can't complain. Staff very friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask more from them - felt they were trying very hard.

Exceptionally helpful host!

The host was exceptionally helpful, going the extra mile and more to help us. All the restaurants were fully booked so we bought some food in a shop. Our host provided us with plates and cutlery so that we could eat on the terrasse. We needed to leave early next day and she got up early to give us an excellent breakfast. Thank you so much!

Our bikes were in an unlocked greenhouse so they weren't safe. From the description on booking com, "Quadruple Room with Bath" our friends were expecting to be in separate rooms but they had to share a twin room or pay extra.

A beautiful home and a great value for money

It was a nice big room with a very large bathroom and big tub. The breakfast was good, and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

The bath is great, but showering was awkward. And the toilet leaked, which was annoying.

Accueil au top .Chambre où il ne manque rien et où on se sent comme chez soi .Petit déjeuner très complet avec du bon pain ,des croissants et des gaufres .L'emplacement idéal car près du centre de Forges les eaux mais dans une rue sans issue et donc très calme .L'hôtesse est incroyablement sympathique.

Fijne plek voor een doorreis.

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. Een mooie locatie voor onze doorreis naar Frankrijk. We hadden onze eigen ruimte met twee ruime slaapkamers en een aparte badkamer. Ideaal voor gezinnen. Erg schoon en netjes. Lekker ontbijt met zelfgemaakte wafels.
