Guest House Yasube

I liked the location, it’s a 40 minute walk from Sapporo station, 15 minutes from Miyajima park station and 20 minutes from Odori station. I appreciated that free breakfast was available(though I never had it haha), and as a guest I could get a coffee for a discounted price(cafe latte is very recommended). Above all I want to say thank you to the owner. He was very accommodating, kind and friendly. He is the only person running the whole place, but thanks to his efforts everything kept running smoothly. Beyond what I’ve mentioned I had no issues as a guest. It was a very nice and stress free stay. If or when I come back to Sapporo I’d like to stay at Guest House Yashibe again. Thank you very much!

Nothing to do with the hostel, but some guests were loud snorers and it made it hard to sleep. This is expected at most hostels though, I slept well for almost the whole time I was there.

附烤吐司早餐

The staff was very friendly and funny at check-in. The shower facilities were clean. The breakfast was simple but filling. The room was peaceful, dark and cool. I was able to talk to people in the lobby in the morning.

The bed was quite hard for me. I'm 165cm and I used almost all the length of the bed so taller people might feel cramped. It's not a very central location but it's close to the streetcar line.
