Dinner superb, great menu, and choice of beers, ciders and wines - weather good so enjoyed in the lovely garden. Room surrounded by beautiful roses, their fragrance was much appreciated!

Lots of character, very nice atmosphere, plenty of parking at the front & side of the building. Staff were all forthcoming & extremely helpful. The dinner & breakfast were both great.
No air con. When we stayed it was a heatwave reaching 35 degrees so this was an issue but any other time of the year this wouldn’t be a problem.

Arrival and booking in very easy. Clean and tidy spacious room, but the weather and as main window opening directly onto the roadside & parking area meant room very hot and stuffy even with fan on. Food and service in pub great
Only thing would be some better form of cooling or some form of external privacy screening so that window could be opened for ventilation

Was nice and clean and comfortable
Considering it was new year day they was knocking on our door at 10.01 telling us we needed to leave the room as was now late for check out. Thought could be a little less abrupt with this on new year day. Was then all a bit awkward waiting for our cab, almost like it was an inconvenience us still being there.
