Recommended for a winter/skiing vacation

We had a very lovely time staying in apartment Curt which faces the ski slopes. It's clean, comfortable, spacious with a lot of storage space and includes a full kitchen. We also tried their restaurant for dinner and enjoyed their spa (finnish and bio saunas). There is also a play room with a pingpong table and table football. All in all the hotel is very beautifully renovated and quaint. The staff is very helpful and kind (cat included :) ) The location is very practical for skiing, you can walk about 150m directly to the ski slope across the camper campground or you can take the skibus that stops on the road below the hotel. There is also a ski storage with boot warmers. We really didn't miss anything and we'd very much like to come back again for a longer stay!

Wonderful place to experience Südtirol

Ciastel is totally charming, cosy, authentic and heartfelt. Beautiful old building with a well-appointed apartment (we slept beautifully to the peaceful sound of the babbling brook outside our window!). Michael was endlessly helpful with suggestions for hikes, and Avni made all our evenings in the lovely Osteria so fun. Feels like visiting family. And the sauna after a long day up a mountain is dreamy. Whole-hearted recommendation - thank you so much!!

What an amazing and special place in the heart of the Dolomites.

Everything. Absolutely stunning view and immaculately put together property made even better by an amazingly friendly staff. Good breakfast. Dinner at the Osteria was top notch. Room was huge and comfortable. Great place for the kids to hangout too (small slide, grass area, chickens). I can’t say enough about this place. We would dream of living here permanently. We felt at home, made even more so with an amazing staff who tended to us with a smile every time and went out of their way to do things like show us their farm.

It was like being home from home.

You just get a good feeling the minute you walk into Ciastel. Friendly staff, fabulous food, both breakfast and dinner. And the wellness center is just what you need after a day of skiing. Overall a fantastic experience and I highly recommend Ciastel to everyone who wants to be spoiled.

Very pleasant stay.

Very spacious, beautuful Tiroler style, and comfortable appartment. Good parking spot. quiet, yet close to village. Host is very friendly, and helpfull. Speaks german, italian, and english.

I would prefer softer matrasses, but the are good. I found it difficult to heat the bathroom, without heating the rest of the appartment (bedroom).

Charming place and delicious restaurant

Super friendly staff and owning family. Very nice setting and house. Super large apartment, well equipped and comfortable. Excellent and creative dinner in lovely and cosy small restaurant. Superb terrace. Extra quiet.

EV charging solution did not work for me in spite of significant effort by the owner but could charge at walking distance otherwise. Would be nice to have a starter kit in the kitchen: dishwasher powder, salt, sugar and tea maybe?

Very nice new property with super friendly staff.

The location is great, very close to the ski lift, at the same time quiet. The staff is super friendly and the apartment clean and spacious. The breakfast bar offered a rich choice of food. The wifi is free and reliable but a bit slow. Definitely a place we'll return again.

Parking place is small and can only hold 4 cars.

Stunning place! Location, interior, hosts, ... everything was perfect! Very nice appartments. You can choose to make your own breakfast/dinner or enjoy very good food in the osteria (breakfast is optional). Super host, they are extremely friendly and want to help you with everything. Very enthousiastic as well. Eating out in the osteria is very good, good quality, fresh products, good prizes.

Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Auch auf Extrawünsche wurde jederzeit eingegangen. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt; dabei wurde großer Wert auf regionale Produkte gelegt. Das Fleisch stammte größtenteils sogar von den eigenen Tieren. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub in familiärer Atmosphäre und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Perfekter Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub in grossartiger Umgebung

Ausnahmslos alle waren sehr zuvorkommend und nett, unser Appartement Curt war sehr gemütlich und sauber, Frühstück war superlecker, für frühe Wandertouren wurde ein liebevoll zusammengestelltes Vesperpaket mitgegeben, das Essen in der Osteria war sehr fein - alles war spitze!

Es gibt rein gar nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hätte.
