The Owner and the Staff were all exceptionally kind.

The rooms are spacious, very clean and modern. The property has stunning views, and a wonderful Swimmingpool with Wellness area. My Partner and I were there for her Birthday as she’s always wanted to visit the Lago Di Braies (Pragser Wildsee) which is about a 40 minute drive from the Hotel. The route to Lago di Braies entails Panoramic views of the Dolomites. On the eve of my Partners Birthday I asked the owner if she could arrange a Birthday surprise for my Partner. In most cases it wouldn’t have been possible because the Bakeries were already closed etc. however, the owner and the staff made it happen. My Partner is Pregnant and it really made her entire Birthday trip. While in certain parts of our European trip I encountered less than friendly people, here at the Hotel Gran Pre I was treated with respect and kindness. The room cleaning service even tidied up our room and mopped the floors clean (which is often not the case at Hotels) The breakfast had many fresh options, and the Cappuccino was divine. During checkout, the owners Daughter gave us the Hotels card with a sincere welcome to contact them the next time we wanted to visit. I would give the hotel, including staff a 10 out of 10. My Partner was just as satisfied as I am. If you’re planning a trip to San Vigilio de Marebbe, then this hotel is truly worth a visit.

Fantastic venue to rest up after an adrenaline adventure!

We really enjoyed the newness and cleanliness of the structure! We also found the spa / relaxation area super cozy and rejuvenating, which was perfect after our adrenaline adventure on Europe’s longest zipline. Our suite room was also spacious and beautiful, and the breakfast generous and delicious!

Quite pricey (but we saw that the town is extremely expensive when it comes to accommodation options). I would also suggest adding a more personal touch to the rooms, e.g. some plants or flowers… something to make it feel even more welcoming.

I didn’t feel welcome, especially the ladies at the reception either ignored me or went out of their way to tell me what I could not do (go to the sauna without letting then know first). Having said that the staff at the breakfast were really nice.

Although location and staff were really friendly I can't recommend to book the hotel.

- The location was outstanding for outdoor activities like skiing and ski touring. - The spa was just right after a long day outside.

The owner collected our passports during check-in what it quite common. Unfortunately she forgot to return them during checked-out and we ended up in the situation that we did not have our passports back home. My attitude is "that everybody can make a mistake" but I personally don't accept the manager's position: - It is the guest's duty to ask for the return of the passport - After several reminders that we need the passports, especially during COVID where you need to prove test results with it, I can't accept the fact she just forgot to send them for about 2-3 weeks. Finally the passports never arrived and therefore we decided, based on the above mentioned situation - to request a new passport on our own costs.

Absolutely new comfortable hotel. Excellent spa, indoor pool, very warm rooms( winter season). Very friendly staff. Cozy bar with special local beverages. Late checkout room was a great service for a small price.

In a checkout room light is automatic but turns off when you have a shower. it’s quite challenging to make it on again in the darkness.

The staff was extremely helpful. That were so nice. We had to leave our luggage as we parted to some hiking. They agreed without hesitation. Really good people. The hotel was great a good value for money. The indoor pool was great pass time for the kids.
