Great, comfortable an luxurious family run restaurant on the edge of köln

We rented the Suite, and it was amazing! Very spacious, gave off a luxurious feeling and helped us relax. It does cost a bit more, but if you have the money the spend it's definitely recommended! Breakfast was basic in assortment but great in flavor and atmosphere. The whole restaurant exudes luxury and comfort, it's clearly a family run hotel and restaurant where guests comfort is more important than making the most money 😊

The Suite was up 2.5 floors, which is a lot of stairs with your bags after walking all day.

Very good for my trip and a comfortable place to rest at night

It was very close to a train into the city of Cologne. The room was small but it had what I needed for my trip. The food was nice and priced reasonably. Food could also be ordered up to your room if you wanted.

Food couldn't be ordered at the front desk after 9pm, which made it difficult as I dont speak German and didnt know how else to order food from the restaurant.

It has room to improve

The staff was very kind, the bathroom was big and comfortable, the rooms are also big and comfortable

The rooms are warm, there's no AC so we were forced to open the windows. Outside it's very noisy with cars going around. There were also many mosquitos. I don't recommend this hotel on hot summer days. My side of the bed was uneven and sloped. During the breakfast, we noticed that there were flies on the bread.

Great value, great resturant with Kölsch and cute surroundings.

The breakfast was simple but nice. Dinner in the resturant was nice and very price friendly. Room was big and clean. Very close to Phantasialand Free Parking is a huge plus.

Most of the staff did not speak English, but our German sufficed. It looks as old as in the pictures, but it is also the charm.

Perfect location.

Perfect location for phantasialand and Cologne. All staff were very nice and accommodating. We do not speak German so they made sure someone could explain everything for us. Beds are comfy, rooms are big and well equipped. Free parking as well. We would definitely return.

Hairdryer is a bit old so does not work very well but it was not a big issue as it was still functional.

okay for a night close to Phantasialand

location close to Phantasialand and next to tram to Cologne center and Bonn center. bed was good size; shower good amount of water;

wifi was very bad. they said they had it checked and do not understand why it didn’t work dining was on terrace only with people smoking everywhere

Great overall. Nice staff. Good food. Beautiful room.

The only complain was that the room (suite) was really hot. Like we both didn't sleep at all and only had 2 hours of sleep that night and it wasn't even that hot outside just inside. And having the windows open and even the balcony door didn't help at all.

Pleasant staff's, Convenient Location

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The metro/tram is just a few steps away, very handy if you plan on having a tour in the city. The staff's are helpful, hard-working and friendly. Breakfast served was good and the beds were really comfortable.

The only thing I could think of was the bathroom. The drain was a bit clogged so it takes a little time before the water flushes down.

Weihnachtsübernachtung

Freundlichkeit des Personals. Sauberkeit. Das Zimmer war schön groß und sauber. Allerdings sehr abgewohnt, defekter rolladengurt im Bad. Kein Rauchmelder!! Betten waren sehr gut. Essen im Restaurant fanden wir gut.

Hatten ab heilig Abend zwei Nächte gebucht. Bei Anreise teilte man uns mit dass es kein Frühstück gibt, obwohl mit gebucht. Keine Info vorher! Wir wussten nicht wo man am 1. Feiertag frühstücken könnte. Am zweiten Tag bekamen wir Frühstück, nach freundlichem Gespräch mit dem Chef. War schon sehr ärgerlich für uns. Man hätte uns vorher eine Info, kurz per Mail, geben müssen. Es erfolgte dann aber eine Erstattung in Form eines Gutscheins für das entgangene Frühstück am Tag davor. Trotzdem eine ärgerliche Situation 😕

Gute Lage Schönes Restaurant

Wir hatten 2 Übernachtungen bei minusgraden. Heizung zu schwach Zimmer und Bad zu kalt An der Rezeption war zur Zeit wo wir frühstücken waren niemand. Also haben wir es so hingenommen. Frühstück klein aber ausreichend. Würde ich nicht dazu buchen. Zeit von 8-9:30 Uhr auch zu kurz und früh. Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen zum schlafen passabel. Fernseher zu alt mit wenig Programmen.

Zentrale Lage, Personal im Frühstücksraum freundlich

Zimmer 4. Matratze zu 100% durchgelegen, TV mit 4 Programmen defekt, schaltet sich nach 5 Minuten selbständig ab. Einrichtung unterdurchschnittlich, altbacken. Frühstück bestand aus einigen, auf einem Teller zusammenstellen Wurstresten, einem gekochten Ei und normalen Brötchen. Das war es- nichts mehr. McDonalds hätte mehr geboten. Unterirdisch. Ich bin häufiger in Hürth, dieses 'Hotel' werde ich nicht mehr besuchen. 88 Euro Zimmerpreis erscheint zunächst günstig, für die gebotenen Leistungen jedoch unangemessen hoch.

Super Preis Leistung für Köln

Ich habe nach einem bezahlbaren Zimmer in Hürth für meine Mutter und ihre Freundin gesucht und dieses Hotel hatte alles, was wir wollten: gute Anbindung nach Köln Zentrum und Brühl mit den Öffis (Bahnhof nebenan), Parkplätze und Frühstück inklusive, Zweibettzimmer, Restaurant im Haus und für uns passende Checkin Zeiten. Gute Erreichbarkeit und Kommunikation im Vorfeld auf Nachfragen. Die Gäste waren zufrieden und haben sich willkommen gefühlt. Die Betten waren bequem und es war sauber. Danke an das freundliche Personal, ich habe nur Gutes gehört.

Es gibt nichts zu meckern. Ein kleines Problem mit dem Zimmer wurde vor Ort schnell und professionell gelöst.

Rezeption nicht besetzt! Einer hat mir den Schlüssel fürs Zimmer gegeben, sprach kein deutsch . Unfreundliche Antwort auf fragen von mir. Weiche Matratze . Das Bad: Waschtisch fehlt der Griff, Holz aufgequollen. Eine Socke von einem anderen Gast lag noch auf dem Boden. Frühstück sehr wenig. Für mich wurde am zwei tag nicht eingedeckt.

Personal- und organisatorisch bedingt musste ich bei Ankunft gegen 21.00 Uhr auf Herausgabe des Schlüssels warten. Die Adresse war verkehrsbedingt (Baustellen!) schwer zu finden. Parkplätze waren bereits fast alle belegt.

Sehr schönes Hotel, aber das Frühstück kann nicht mit dem mithalten, was mein Team sonst geboten bekommt, kaum Auswahl, einfach, für ein Hotel, was sich für so toll hält, überhaupt nicht akzeptabel.

Das Restaurant hat eine sehr teure Gerichte auf der Karte und man bekommt Tiefkühl Schnitzel serviert ?
