A comfortable place to stay with local conveniences within walking distance.

This hotel has become a regular last stop for me in Germany prior to returning home to the UK. Ideal location for the nearest autobahns ( 4 for E & W , 1 for N & S) and the convenience of having the huge Globus supermarket and petrol station within the immediate vicinity.

Not had any bad experiences here. This year they informed me that they are charging €5 per night to have your car stay onsite overnight. Was formerly free to park there but in the circumstances its not a massive amount like some places can charge.

Easy access, the place is comfortable and the parking is cheap. Big shoutout to Julienne who guided us and she is doing an amazing Job

Breakfast: we had an incident with the man in the morning. We have been told the evening that we only had to pay for the breakfast and it was 9am in the morning. The Guy working in the morning of 28th of Dec was quite hostile. With no explanation he didn’t want to serve us breakfast. I have sent a report to customer service regarding this because i understand the stress of the personel but in no case you can discriminate or be unpolite to your guests who paid and are willing to pay… without this i could’ve given the hotel a 9/10

Good hotel in Köln

The room was comfortable, the curtains were blackout style and helped to keep the room dark at night or at any time during the day if you close them. Supportive staff.

Difficult to get to from city centre by public transport. It is far from Köln Hauptbanhof (centre), there is no tram stop nearby. We had to take the tram up to the closest stop and then get an Uber from the tram stop to the hotel. It took us more than 45 minutes to get from and to the city center.

A good stay over hotel

It’s very convenient just off the Autobahn, you have to pay a small fee for parking seems safe enough with cameras covering the car park. The room was nice with toilet and shower, there isn’t a kettle so you have to go downstairs to a coffee machine for hot drinks. Opposite the hotel there is a big store which sells almost everything good for getting snacks and if you’re earlier enough hot food too. There is also a petrol garage opposite too don’t make the mistake we did and wait to fill up the next morning the price went up 10 cents a litre. All in all a good stop over hotel.

Very clean, helpful staff, nice food, comfortable accomodating room.

Didnt have little shampoo conditioner and bodywashes. However they had a 3 in one which was perfectly sufficient

Location, it's a long way out of city centre . But 10 minutes walk to tram and straight into city centre. Taxis were expensive.

Expensive, poor service. Worst place I had to endure.

I have no idea where to begin and where to end. The hotel charged us an extra 15 EUR to check in 45 minutes earlier for a reservation that costed twice their usual rate due to the fair. Rooms are of laughable size, missing even a wardrobe. They kept leaving a single towel for was was clearly a room where two people were staying. What really bothered me however wasn’t the huge rats outside the hotel in the parking area or the breakfast 2-3 items. What really bothered me was the fact that during the last morning of our reservation there wasn’t a single staff member available to refill the breakfast buffet or get our invoice.

I loved how clean the room was. The size was also worth it for the price. Enough parking space as well.

A small refrigerator would have been nice and glass cups instead of paper cups. Other then that, it was really good.

Good base for outside of the city

Helpful friendly staff. Very clean room. Parking. 10 min walk to train station for around 30 min trip into the city. Restaurants and supermarket close by.

Would use it again.

This isn't the first B&B hotel I've stayed in, although it was the first in Germany. Overall, you get what you pay for. It's effectively a european Travelodge... Parking is decent, but will fill up fast. Service is good, vending machines are stocked and it's close to a supermarket and fastfood places. Location is perfect for what we needed (overnight stop off)

Cleanliness left a bit to be desired, but it wasn't terrible at all. Other half is very picky...

+ Access via car is very good (Autobahn nearby, parking available on site) + Clean rooms, not very loud during the night even with the Autobahn nearby and open windows + Good value for money (especially during trade fairs) + Breakfast had a little bit of everything

- Access via train/bus from Cologne isn't too good, so if you don't have a car it could be quite a journey

Room was clean and well laid out. The shower was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful.

A little pricier than some other budget stays but probably reflected by the proximity to a large city.
