A decent experience overall. Location was excellent as means of transport, shops and food places were literally 10 steps away. The room was good value for the money, fairly spacious and the beds were comfortable. I didn't use the kitchen but it looked ok. Definitely recommend if you're a budget and/or traveling with friends and want a cheap but reasonable accommodation in Cologne.
The shower room left a bit to be desired, it was very rudimentary and there was no option to rent towels for the stay so I had to buy some myself from the local supermarket. Some of the shower stalls didn't have a curtain.

Big room, big kitchen. Close to grocery store, public transportation and restaurants.
Room 7 was right next to the kitchen. There is a patio off the kitchen where guests smoke. Guests on the patio can see right into the room, their smoke goes right into the room if the windows are open.

Spacious rooms
No towel was provided. Would be an easy change to provide cheap towels. If not highlight clearly that it's not on booking.com

"We were close to everything we needed. Such a spacious room with a double bed and 2 bunks beds. Clean bathrooms and great showers 🚿 nice and hot water to use. Very clean area which we loved."
