Friendly staff, free complementaries, safety and nice guests, close to lively neighborhood
Beds could be a bit more comfy as they were squeaky when person below moved and mattresses could be more sturdy but survivable for a short stay. Regardless, everything else was really nice.

I traveled to Cologne to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Cologne Central Mosque, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I stayed at a nearby hostel, which was very convenient and made everything easier.
The area around the accommodation is filled with halal food options, making it very friendly for halal travelers. Although it takes a bit of walking to reach the station, the atmosphere and overall experience of this place are absolutely special.

That you had to be at the hostel before 24.00, when staying in dorm (sharing with other people). l think it was very respectful.

Rude staff! And only available few hours every day at the property so things dont go to plan, theres noone to help you but other guests. Very unprofessional solution. When l arrived, they misplaced my key and the help number to call was out of order and no staff on the property. l asked an other guest to let me in. it was a chance that someone came to the hostel same time as me. Next day they took away my towel and l had to dry myself with my clothes. Toilet paper was placed on the floor not on the shelf. Staff basically told me thing were my fault even though it was clearly their misdoings..
