Perhaps for one night ok

Very friendly staff, hot water, clean towels and bed linen.

There is a lot of mold in the shower, and I found some kind of living oblong insect there. There are traces of dead insects on the walls, only two power outlets, poor sound isolation from the road outside the window (although it is not a very busy road). The room is a little stuffy, despite being ventilated.

Location was good 👍

In the bathroom lack of shower gel and shampoo, as is usual in all hotels, it’s standard. And the liquid soap dispenser was dirty, it was scary to use it. The toilet seat was broken. It was not stable. And the sleeping pillow was really uncomfortable. I just slept without it.

Absolutely terrible

The hotel was extremely poor. On arrival, the key card to the door was not working, so I was eventually let in manually. The lights to the room were not working, so I had to sit in the dark, stuffy, hot room whilst they tried to fix the key card issue. The lift wasn’t working so I had to carry my 30kg bag up 4 flights of stairs. There was also an awful smell in the hotel. This was not somewhere I was able to stay so found alternative accommodation. Wrote to the hotel requesting a refund due to how poor the hotel was with no response.

Good quality at a reasonable price with easy access to the city centre.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Parking at the hotel was easy and reasonably priced. One small problem with the bathroom light was fixed within 30 minutes.

Lovely location 2 restaurants & a park nearby. Lovely city, wish we had been able to stay longer

Lovely, leafy location. Easy enough to get the train into the centre. Very helpful staff & told us about the 24 hour travel card. Very clean. Parking on site. Able to leave car after checking out so we could take the train into the centre for the morning.

Room a bit smaller than I expected a queen room to be. (It was a queen sized bed.) Would have liked a kettle & cups in the room.(we opted out of breakfast there). Had to pay extra for parking.

Lovely experience

Staff were very helpful. Lovely Patricia on the front desk was very welcoming, went beyond and above helping us with information and maps,love her. The young chap was also great sorting breakfast for us very last minute. All the staff were so pleasant and friendly.

acceptable, affordable, close by but not comfortable stay

price was good, room was spacious and overall it was convenient and close to the transportation, and supermarkets. they allowed to store our luggage until the check-in time. overall, it was acceptable stay.

the heaters were not turned on when we went which was really cold, I asked for extra blanket, cover or extra duvet, but none was available, they did offer few bed sheets, but obviously that is not helpful, the heaters took few hours to be effective which was already uncomfortable during the night. there was a small insect that crawled out of the shower sink, that was not pleasant. price is cheap, but still, some basic level of heating and cleanness is expected.

It was ok

Service of personal is poor quality. Was not able issue invoice even informed in advance, promised to send by email, asking two times to send it, haven't gave any results.

Convenience in Cologne

It was clean and comfortable and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the old city.

Having to pay 15€ a night for parking in the garage which is under the hotel! It's great to have secure parking but a much more reasonable rate would be appreciated. A kettle to make a cup of tea would be a great addition.

Exceptional

I didn't take a breakfast, I just take a coffe and I see the breakfast was perfekt. Location is extra. I leave the baggage, I walk around and than leave at the station. People on the reception were so friendy and excellent.

One night stay during our visit to Cologne

Was okay for a short stay. We went to Cologne for a Xmas market, so had to find a place to sleep. It has enough to take a shower, get a cup of tea and sleep one night. Clean, average room, nothing special. Didn't expect anything else from it.

Didn't have time to spot something :)
