Position and view of the lake is gorgeous. Great shower pressure.

No air conditioning, rooms are pretty dated, hair dryer pretty much burns you and there’s only one iron available to the entire hotel & apartments.

Amazing view with rick breakfast.

The room was amazing with a spectacular view of Fraueninsel. The breakfast was plentiful and full of options. The bathroom was clean and the shower pressure was refreshing.

Value for money for a relaxing holiday

The location is beautiful. The view from the junior suite is splendid. The ferry to the other islands is barely a 5 minute walk and even the boat rentals are right next door. We went there for a relaxed vacation and 3 days 2 nights weren't enough...wish we would have stayed longer.

The cleanliness could have been updated before our check in itself. The room was extremely clean, no doubt, but there were cobwebs in our balcony which were cleaned once we requested the staff.

Great Location. Nice rooms.

Lovely, comfortable rooms with balconies. Fabulous location, we loved the lakeside settlement of Gstadt on Chiemsee. Breakfast buffet was OK, food was nothing special, but eating on the terrace with a lakeside view was special. There was no dinner served by the Hotel, but the adjacent restaurant was good and allowed us to eat on the Hotel terrace.

Bathrooms were small with cramped shower cubical. There was very little staff service but we arrived on a Sunday.

Not a hotel, bad value for money, not a true example of German hospitality.

Great assortment on offer for breakfast. Get there EARLY though. Our room was big in size. Easy access to island ferries. Quiet location. Clean.

I believe this establishment should not be called a Hotel. Maybe an apart-hotel though with no fridge/tea/coffees in room. It has no bar or comfortable seating anywhere and both reception & breakfast area close @6pm. There is a large balcony (wasps are a major problem) that is vacant & another ?leased to a different bar. Worst of all is lack of hospitality. Staff were quite cold & unwelcoming no enquiries during or at the end of stay as how stay was… 6nights - not just an overnight. Disappointing - will return to Chiemsee but not to stay here.

Location veiw comfortable clean

The first recipient was unfriendly and was having a personal telephone conversation when we arrived and made us wait 10 minutes. Then she gave us a parking pass that did not work.

The location is perfect, right in front of the lake and the docks to go to the islands. The bathroom is great size, very clean and beds and very comfortable. The hotel seems very new and staff was friendly and helpful! Plus breakfast is amazing!!! Would definitely stay there again!
