Great food, super balkony, nice staff, great location for walks, jogging (had no snow)

Great breakfast, super friendly staff. The best food in their restaurant compared to several others we visited around and in Ruhpolding. Great for going walking, jogging.

Cannot regulate floor heating so it is constantly too warm or too cold if you keep the window open.

Beautiful place to unwind for a few days.

Amazing location, right next to a (small) golf course, with the mountains in the background!!!Our room was on the second floor, and we had an amazing view out of the balcony. The hotel is a former 'Landhaus', and retains all of the old world charm. The breakfast spread was quite good. The patio (that's an extension of the dining area) overlooks the golf course. Btw, if you arrive late in the evening and are looking for a place to eat, check out the pizzeria 'Bell Ponte' - that's the only one open after 9PM.

Old rooms, great stay anyway

Good value for money in a beautiful situated village. We actually been here before a few years ago when we needed a overnight stay from a road trip on the 8. We remembered the dated rooms but perfect breakfast and scenery and it was the same experience now. Old rooms, but good sleep, good food and nice views.

Nothing. The bedrooms are outdated, but that is clear from the pictures and reviews and thus expected. We slept great anyway :)

the service was very poor. the italian receptionist/waiter was annoyed from our presence. didnt speak a word in English. didnt make Any effort to give us small snack/chipsy to beer, didnt greet us. Check in communication with him very complicated, didnt have any info. most importantly - he charged us twice for city tax.

The house is in beautiful are. The house is also very nice, a tipical Alpen house, I love it. We arrived late night but we could check-in and the restaurant was open which was a big plus point because we were very hungry. It was very delicious. The brekfast was also excellent, so I recommend it very.

Perfect Alpine Hospitality

Ruhpolding is a beautiful alpine town with the best gravel biking I've ever experienced. The hotel is the perfect base for exploring with a tremendous breakfast and a wonderful dinner. The staff were courteous and kind, even with limited English on their part and no German on ours. We highly recommend it.

We truly loved verything and will be returning. However, this is a traditional alpine guest house and the decor is as such. If you expect modernity, you will need to recalibrate. So, while we lived the experience, be realistic with your expectations for decor, food options, etc.

Good

The hotel is surrounded by green fields and this makes the whole atmosphere of this traditional bavarian house really nice. The waiters were really friendly and the room was clean. The breakfast was really good too.

Only a note of 7 for 2 reasons: - first because the rooms are really old, probably from the 80'. My shower was in the middle of the living room (never seen that before). - i have been charged 8€ for my dog which is actually fine but that was mentioned nowhere on booking. Clients don't like those kind of surprises.

It's the best hotel at such a price I've seen so far! Highly recommend. Beautiful place, big and comfortable room. Excellent food and beer in the restaurant, very tasty. Friendly stuff :).

Das Hotel war sehr sauber und die Meisten vom Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit

Leider ist die Bar nur bis 21:00 offen. Es gibt danach keine Möglichkeit irgendwo zu sitzen, wenn Paare im gleichen Hotel gebucht haben. Es gibt auch keine Automaten mit Getränken für nach 21:00. Schade!

Die Zimmer des Hotels sind überholungsbedürftig.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, es zwar jeden Tag gleich, aber es bestand eine große Vielfalt. Mit der Chiemgaukarte wurden viele kostenlose Angebote ermöglicht.

Das kleinere Doppelzimmer verfügt nicht mal über ein Badezimmer. Das Waschbecken war neu und ist im Zimmer montiert, die Dusche ist auch im Zimmer fest verbaut und nur durch einen Vorhang vom Zimmer getrennt. Lediglich die Toilette ist separat. Die Möbel sind uralt, das Bett durchgelegen und das Zimmer war mit 2 verschiedenen Teppichböden ausgelegt. In diesem Zimmer übernachtet man nur sehr ungern. In dem größeren Doppelzimmer war die Ausstattung neuwertiger, wobei die Betten auch durchgelegen waren. Auch das Bad und die Fenster bräuchten dringend eine Überholung.

Alles in Allem waren sir sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft empfehlen.

Das Frühstück ist der HAMMER, Wurstwaren und Brötchen wahrscheinlich von lokalen Fleischern/Bäckern. Sehr, sehr gut, da können sich andere Hotels eine dicke Scheibe abschneiden.

Wir hatten die 3 Zimmer Wohnung, sie war sauber und ordentlich, bis auf den Teppichboden, der könnte wirklich ausgetauscht werden. In der Küche war das Licht durch Bewegungsmelder gesteuert, d. h., dass wenn man z. B. abgewaschen hat, erlischt plötzlich das Licht und man muss zur Badezimmertür gehen, um das Licht wieder zu aktivieren, das ist nicht so schön. Schön wäre es auch gewesen, wenn ein paar Grundzutaten, z. B. Öl, Salz und Pfeffer in der Küche vorhanden gewesen wären, das kenne ich aus anderen Wohnungen so. Gläser und Geschirr könnten vollständig sein.

Gute Unterkunft mit tollem Frühstück aber auch deutlich in die Jahre gekommenen Zimmern.

Die Chefin war ausgesprochen freundlich. Der Ausblick vom großen Balkon war wunderschön. Das Frühstück war ausgesprochen lecker. Unser Hund willkommen.

Die Einrichtung ist tatsächlich schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Eine Renovierung würde das Hotel wirklich ungemein aufwerten und von einer guten Unterkunft zu einem Highlight machen.

Eine sehr schöne Zwischenstation

Die gastronomische Leistung war sehr gut (Abendesssen 4-Gänge-Menü und Frühstück). Der Ausblick auf die Berge und die Ruhe in der Natur waren sehr entspannend.

Es gab Schwierigkeiten mit der Buchung. Wir mussten vor Ort, für die Kinder, nochmal nachzahlen. Diese hatten weder ein Nachttisch oder Nachttischlampe. Es gab kein Entgegenkommen des Chefs oder ähnliches.

Frühstück sehr gut und sehr reichhaltig....alles da was man sich wünscht....es wurde immer nachgelegt, auch noch um kurz vor 10 Uhr..... :) was nicht immer selbstverständlich ist.... große Auswahl....versch.Säfte...vesch.Müsli....Wust,Käse,versch.Marmeladen....warme Sachen....Rühreier,Speck.....Obstsalat,Joghurt,Quark.... Personal immer extrem freundlich und sehr um die Gäste bemüht.....uns hat sehr gut gefallen, das man im Haus zu Abend essen konnte....das Essen war sehr lecker.... Man konnte auf der Terrasse frühstücken und auch zu Abend essen und hatte einen wunderbaren Blick aufdie Berge...... Mit der Chiemgaukarte hatte man einige Vergünstigungen wie z.B die Sesselbahn auf den Unterberg kostenlos.... Unser Zimmer war groß und sehr gemütlich, sehr sauber und wurde jeden Tag gemacht....ebenso das Badezimmer, etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber extrem sauber, was uns sehr wichtig war.... Die Betten waren bequem....wir haben sehr gut geschlafen....

wir hätten uns eine Senderliste für den Fernseher gewünscht.... Aber das ist nur eine Anregung.... Ansonsten gab es gar nichts zu kritisieren.....
