Great value for money, a faultless stay!

My stay at Guesthouse Matusic was perfect. Ana was an extremely welcoming host and couldn’t do enough to help. The room was extremely comfortable and the communal seating area outside was also a pleasant place to spend some time. The guesthouse is also extremely well located, a couple of minutes walk from a supermarket and a bus stop which can take you to the Old Town.

Nice and cozy Dubrovnik stay.

In a quiet part of Dubrovnik which I liked. It's close to shops and restaurants and I was able to see all of Dubrovnik. The hosts were absolutely lovely and made sure that you fully enjoyed your time in the city. The room was perfectly fine for a few days, and the space was clean, bathroom was adequate and clean as well.

If you're looking to be closer to the old town this probably isn't the place to stay. I wanted to be close to the bus station and it was a 20 minute walk which was good for me. Again I didn't mind the walk to the old town but there is one (about 40 minutes).

The property was in a perfect location for our stay. Just a short bus ride from old town and very close to harbour restaurants and grocery store. Miladinka our host was amazing from greeting us on our arrival with beer and snacks to freshening up our room everyday we were out.

We loved everything. Couldn’t fault our 6 day stay.

Great value stay in Dubrovnik, with a really friendly host!

The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived and very comfortable The host is a lovely lady. We arrived late after 11pm but she still came outside to greet us and show us around. Plus offered us some cold beers and snacks once we were in - outstanding welcome and hosting Great location, a bus stop is just a minutes away with a 5 minute bus ride to the old town. Also walkable in about 25 mins.

Nothing - we’d happily stay here again if we visited Dubrovnik!

Great location, clean apartment and very kind host! Highly recommending!!

Very clean, comfortable bed, great location, 5 min walk to the bus station, 3 min walk to the supermarket, 5 min walk to the bakery. Location was quite and not to far from the centre. Host Mladenka was very kind and helpful, she gave us lots of recommendations, and we felt very welcome. She gave even flowers from her garden to my mum that she asked for. Highly recommending this pls d particularly of the kindness from the host !!

No parking which we knew and it’s kind of normal in Dubrovnik. There was near by parking - day pass for 25€ which is for Dubrovnik very affordable

Highly recommended lovely home

Superb welcome from the hostess, with a cool drink and snacks on arrival. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. 20 mins walk to bus station, close to lovely walks and beaches in Lapad.

Homely stay in great spot!

Good location close to supermarkets & bakery. 2km walk to told town however there is a bus right out the front of supermarket so used that to go there and to Lapad beach. Clean neat property & the owner was lovely. Treated us to a beer and icecream when we arrived after a hot bus trip!

Nothing was great. Make sure you use the supermarket stairs at the bottom of the large stairwell instead of the top street to get in there it’s much quicker access. If you can’t walk on stairs you may struggle in this location but was great for us.

Super hospitality by a lovely lady

The owner of the house welcomed us as if we were family. She was happy to see us, she offered us water, almonds, popcorn and her family's drink (cherry). She even escorted us to a free parking spot. The room we stayed in was in her house, it was big with its own bathroom, it was clean and the mattress was comfortable. When it was time to leave, she made coffee and wished us luck in our lives. It was a nice experience and both my boyfriend and I, thought that we were lucky she was the hostess.

Exceptional

Ms Mladenka welcomed us so warmly and graciously, treated us with homemade rakija and walnut liquor and made us feel at home even though we stayed only one night. The rooms are spacious and clean as advertised. The Old Town is 20-25 minutes away by foot, on top of 5-6 different bus lines that also take you there. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

The apartment was nice and clean. Easy to go to the old town by bus. Shopping centers and reastaurants near by (walking distanse). The owner was such a lovely person and the garden was amazing. She was happy to help with any questions you had. I felt very welcome to stay here.

Cozy and warm memories from beautiful Croatia

Host was very friendly and helpful. We had a great welcome (homemade liquor). Without any request she showed us must-see locations, complete public transportation scheme. She has a great knowledge about the city. Additionally, we were supplied with fresh, clean towels every day. The internet connection was smooth and fast! Definitely deserves to be recommended!

The lady who recieved us was very kind and offered us her special liquor wich was so good that me and my girlfriend wanted to buy It The room is very clear and place is good but is not very close to the Old Town but we used an elettric motorbike that you can rent in Dubrovnik for a few amount of Money and was Just 5 minutes to move on the ancient city

The only thing that i didn t like about the room were the pillows of the bed which were too high and they were not the best for my neck

Very nice and welcoming host, we were greeted with a glass of homemade Rakija and some snacks. The room is equiped with everything one needs. The old town and the bus station are easily accessible by bus and the host helps with information regarding transport and sightseeing. Would recommend staying there!

Good location, lovely owner lady, take cash with you to pay for accomodation!!!

The owner lady is lovely, her liquer was very nice and tasty.I could see, for her it is important to help guests and give a good sevice.The room was very nice and well-equipped. My first impression of the location and the street was a bit scary because the area seemed unsafe but later I realised it is not so bad.However, watch out while coming home at night or after dark. All in all, I would recommend tourists to stay here because the location is great only 20 minutes walk from the old town of Dubrovnik,10 minutes to the ferries and the harbour and about the same from swimming locations and the coach station, the owner lady is lovely, there is a fridge to keep drinks and food for breakfast, there is an amazingly good supermarket very close, so a central spot to discover the area.

First of all, for all the fellow travellers I recommend you to take as much Kuna as you need to pay for the owner in cash avoiding the representing company to take the money off your account I only had one problem with the accomodation. The rooms are not sound proof. When people book a room at a place, they probably do it because they want to relax, enjoy their holiday and not to be woken up at 7 or 8 for a loud spoken telephone conversation or as the lady is hammering meat.The sound proof and insulation of the apartment is really bad. Basically you can hear everything that is going on in the corridor or in the other rooms. So until 9, you should try to let people have a rest, maybe it is uncomfortable for the owners as they also live there but a point to consider for future improvement.

The lady is super nice greet us with self brew cherry liquid and everything is great! Room is super clean, bed is comfy and the location is close to supermarket Tommy. Highly recommended!

But prepare cash for the accommodation fee you can’t pay by card!

Amazing host! She was lovely. Apartment nice.

The host was lovely and offered us home made liquor on arrival. Very helpful the entire time we were there. The room was ok, nothing fancy but ok value for money.

Distance - all reviews claimed 20 min walk away however it was definitely 30 mins.

Incroyable

La dame de l’accueil est la personne la plus gentille que j’ai rencontré pendant mon séjour en Croatie. Nous sommes partis 1h en retard de l’heure du Check out et elle est resté très compréhensible avec nous. Elle nous a donne directement un plan des lignes de bus et des bons endroit où aller. La chambre est géniale dans une rue assez calme toute équipée.

Очень понравилось расположение GH Matusic, забронировала их и была в восторге от выбора! Легко добраться от порта Дубровника или автовокзала. Все фото и описания соответствуют действительности. Уютный дом, в нем несколько комнат сдают. Милейшая и заботливая хозяйка готова помочь во всем и объяснить, как куда добраться. Комната просторная, кровать удобная, белоснежная постель. Есть телевизор, чайник, запас кофе. Понравилось отдыхать у милой госпожи Младенки очень, будто к родным заезжала погостить! Благодарю вас за уют!

Здесь всё понравилось, никаких претензий не может быть.

- L'accueil de Mladenka avec une boisson fraîche, ses conseils, sa disponibilité. - la propreté, tout est impeccable - la chambre double indépendante, le lit spacieux. - la situation : à l'écart de l'agitation donc au calme.Tout est néanmoins à 20 mns à pied : Vieille ville, plage, gare routière, commerces et restaurants. - le rapport qualité-prix pour Dubrovnik - Mladenka garde gracieusement les bagages le dernier jour

Un final de viaje perfecto

La habitación era muy grande y estaba todo nuevo. El recibimiento fue magnífico; la dueña de la casa nos recibió ofreciéndonos cerveza o un licor que hacía ella y un bol con almendras y nueces que nos tomamos en nuestra mesa de la terraza. Fue muy fácil de encontrar siguiendo Google Maps y está muy bien situado,en una calle muy tranquila. Está justo detrás de un comercio y los autobuses que te llevan al centro están a un par de minutos. Al centro también se puede ir andando: unos 20' a la Puerta Pile,un paseo muy agradable. En dirección contraria está la estación de autobuses, también a unos 15-20' andando por el puerto nuevo. El bus que te lleva al aeropuerto sale de la estación de autobuses pero también recoge pasajeros en la parada que está más cerca del alojamiento. Bordeando el puerto hay un paseo muy agradable que te lleva a una nueva zona de Dubrovnik donde hay unas terrazas muy bonitas,lo recomiendo. La Dubrovnik card la compramos online y en la taquilla que hay en la parada nos dieron la tarjeta de bus gratuita.
