Very nice accommodations for a reasonable price

Cute place, nice terrace. Very clean and roomy. Bakery and convenience store just down the driveway. They let one of my family members stay a couple of hours longer-have a later check out. That was very helpful!

We could have used paper towels. Lots of steps uphill getting there from the ferry. Fine if you’re young, in shape and expecting it.

Good size for couple. Very clean and comfy. Close to supermarket and bakery as well as bus stop.

A nice stay at Dubrovnik

The apartment is located between the Dubrovnik Bus terminus and the old town. There is a bus stop on the main street, about 2 min walk from the apartment, to go to the city walls. As a whole the apartment was quite good with a cozy bedroom, a leaving room with kitchen and dinning facilities. The balcony was an excellent place to enjoy the Sun with view of hills on one side and scenic red tops of the houses on the other side. We checked-in quite late at night (1:30 am), the owner was responsive and made arrangement so that we can get in without any hassle.

The bathroom had a very weird smell, probably coming from the sewage lines, which was quite obnoxious and even after repeated use of room freshener, it was not avoidable. The building has no elevator, so with heavy luggage. it was bit difficult to access 2nd/3rd floor.

Excellent accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen in an ideal location

Great modern apartments which were fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Lovely views from the balcony and very clean.

The only negative is that you can hear movement throughout the complex, people talking or moving furniture, as all the floors are tiled there is no sound proofing.

This apartment and the host were really one of a kind, I really couldn’t fault it! Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was exactly as described and had all we needed. The level of cleanliness was superb and the air-conditioning was amazing, which we especially appreciated since it was so hot. The beds were extremely comfortable! Ruzica was a sublime host - she was there to answer all questions and was very flexible. She facilitated work video conference calls for me in a private room on each of the days. I really couldn’t recommend this apartment more!

Disappointing

The location was nice and also the facilities. The superior bedroom apartment was really nice.

The staff wasn’t that nice. We had to pay 15€ per day for parking in the garage even tho in front of the apartments there would have been enough space to park as well. There was no need to pay extra. We wanted to wash clothes (because of the beach) they told us we can’t around 6pm only in the morning. They hadn’t mentioned that before tho and we only stayed for 2 days.

Ordinary stay - great to sleep only

The host is welcoming even though he does not speak English (communication was still manageable) and pointed us to the key areas of Dubrovnik. There's a supermarket close to the place (3-minute walk) and a free car park. To get to the city centre we took a bus in front of the supermarket and in roughly 20 minutes we reached our destination. The place is clean even though small for three people. It's a nice place to stay if you will only sleep there - cooking can be difficult due to small size of kitchen.

When booking City Apartments Lani, you can get one of the various apartments they rent, so pictures may not be accurate. For instance, we got an apartment which had a different terrace. The booking is done through an agency which manages the property and puts you through the owners.

great localization (very quiet place) and quite close to the Old Town. very close to bakeries and supermarket. Perfectly clean, nice new furnitures and equpiment. good solution with beds’ arrangement - one double in one and two single in other; great terrace; very helpful host, easy to contact with

New apartment

The apartment was almost new, with everything available. Nice balcony und view. 10-15 min walk to the ferry station. But you can take the bus near the apartment. 2 bakery nearby and a restaurant. The person who received us couldn’t speak English too much but we managed

Broken mattresses and ants in bedroom.

The member of staff who welcomed us into the property was very helpful. Spent a good 5-10mins highlighting all the useful amenities around the city on a map he gave us. Good sized property, nice bathroom and kitchen area. Decent location within a few seconds walk to main road including local bakery, supermarket and bus stops.

The bed was the worst I have ever experienced! It was a double bed made up of two separate single mattresses, which is fine and a lot of other accommodations do the same. The problem is the state of the mattresses...both had large sink holes in the middle of them!! It felt like we were laying in two graves! This obviously caused the worst back aches and completely impossible to sleep on. My girlfriend and I ended up sleeping on the living room sofa and floor. Thankfully we were only staying 2 nights so we couldn’t be bothered to contact the host and waste our short time in Dubrovnik getting a new bed. But if that wasn’t enough...on the second day I noticed a number of ants crawling around on the bed we had abandoned! We have no idea where they were coming from and frankly did not want to look any further. We just took a few photos and then closed that room off knowing we were leaving the following morning.
