Everything was clean, well set up and the atmosphere itself felt super comfortable

The only “bad thing” to say is that the toilet room is separated

Super clean, comfortable, central and safe place to stay while exploring Rome.

The doors in the shower, which was lovely actually, were a bit broken but we managed. The bathroom was very nice and modern.

Location - we chose this property because it is across the road from the bike hire store that we hired bicycles from. Also access to grocery store, cleanliness and modern facilities, air conditioning was great in the hot weather.

The location

I booked a one-night stay for my elderly parents, but the host's poor communication made the experience incredibly stressful. Immediately after booking, I requested an early check-in. Instead of a direct answer, I was flooded with repetitive automated messages. I was also asked to pay a tourist tax via an external link; while it turned out to be legitimate, it felt unsafe given Booking.com’s standard security warnings against using external links for payments. Getting a straight answer about check-in or luggage storage was exhausting. The provided phone number didn’t work, and even Booking.com customer service couldn't reach them. When the host finally messaged via WhatsApp, their tone was inflexible and condescending - at one point telling me to "re-read instructions" instead of just answering a simple question, repeatedly emphasizing that the access codes would only activate at 3 PM. The property's logistics are also unnecessarily complicated; even accessing the private external bathroom requires entering a digital code instead of using a simple key. Because of the host's poor communication, I wasted two hours of my morning just trying to coordinate my parents' arrival. Activating the check-in codes earlier and adopting a kinder, more helpful tone would have saved us a massive headache. Furthermore, the 10 AM checkout time is significantly earlier than standard hospitality venues worldwide. I wish the host the best, but as someone who values kind hospitality and smooth communication, this was unfortunately not a positive experience for us.
