Wonderful place to stay!

This hotel is a real gem. Well off the beaten path and not in a commercial area. Old buildings nicely restored and very cozy. We loved it. Breakfast was spectacular and in a sort of conservatory. Just wonderful

A pleasure to stay.

Perfect location for us as we didn’t need to get a permit for the campervan. Good parking available at the hotel. Good train/bus link to the city. Excellent restaurant.

No Decaffeinated coffee available at breakfast (only instant decaf available) We didn’t understand the lighting system in the room.

Good location

The history of the buildings was fascinating, I loved the architecture, especially the breakfast room, it was quite unique and nicely appointed, the inner brick courtyard reminded me of my trips to Scotland

I really wasn't impressed with the furnishings in the rooms we were in, they both were in need of a refresh, furniture and curtains looked worn & outdated. The rooms were really stuffy during the night, didn't appear that the thermostat did anything to change the temp one way or the other, we opened the window for awhile, but it wasn't feasible to leave it open all night as it was a full length window

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

No coffee making facilities although staff would make you a coffee on request. No bar or restaurant with no guides to local facilities. There was a coin slot machine in reception selling snacks, soft drink, wine and beer.

Nice room, poor breakfast

Staff were friendly, room a little old fashioned and outdated but comfortable and very clean.

The breakfast was extremely overpriced. There were a few slices of ham/salami and a few slices of cheese, along with some bread rolls. The warm food containers were empty and hadn’t been replaced. We paid 21,50 Eur. each for a ham sandwich and a coffee.

A relaxing and friendly place to stay.

The breakfast buffet was excellent: there was a huge range, lovely scrambled eggs and coffee, and of course, bread! I loved the location and the building, being able to go for quiet and cooler walks alongside the Rhein after a busy time in the city on hot days. The staff were very approachable and helpful. Herzlichen Dank!

There was nothing I didn't like but I'd have really appreciated tea and coffee-making facilities in the room.

Lovely old building and new additions were tasteful but still in keeping with the surroundings. The evening meal was exceptional. Great location for public transport into Cologne.

The bedroom and bathroom were a bit tired looking but adequate enough and comfortable. No facilities to make a drink either.

Nice hotel

The room was spacious. Free big parking lot nearby.

Water stream is too weak to take a good shower. Staff was not available during the holiday and the room was not arranged - there wasn't any supply of toilet paper. The fan was not sufficient for cooling the room.

Schöne Hotelanlage mit Potential

Das Frühstück war sehr gut.Auch das Ambiente im Frühstücksraum war sagenhaft. Die Lage und die Anlage insgesamt war sehr schön. Massig Parkplätze vorhanden und gute Anbindung in die Stadt. Ruhige Gegend.

Leider hatten wir keinen Tresor im Zimmer obwohl es in unserer gebuchten Zimmerbeschreibung angegeben war. Laut Personal währen nicht alle Zimmer mit Tresor ausgestattet. Das Bad war sehr groß aber mangelhaft eingerichtet.Sehr kahl und kalt mit kleinen weißen Fliesen.Duschwanne ist auch nicht jedem sein Geschmack.Kein schönes Bad. Das Zimmer war schlicht eingerichtet aber ok für 1 Nacht.

Zimmer waren nicht so wie auf der Website dargestellt, sondern nur sehr einfach ausgestattet und für 165,00 € definitiv zu teuer. Das Restaurant war geschlossen. Das so überaus gelobte und reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet haben wir nicht nicht finden können. Es war, mit Verlaub 0815, bzw. ganz einfacher Standard.

Fijn verblijf

We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen. Kamer was ruim genoeg. De ligging is fijn. Op loopafstand van de tram die naar het centrum van Keulen en Bonn rijdt. Plek is rustig. Ontbijt was prima. Het pand is mooi, oud klooster.

Kamer was netjes, badkamer en kamer niet heel modern maar wij vonden dat niet erg en het past bij het oude pand.

Spitzenrküche und cooles Hotel

Zimmer sind einfach ( 3 Sterne) , die Ausstattung gut. Alles ausreichend, Betten gut , WLAN stabil und schnell. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das angeschlossene Restaurant ist auf Sterneniveau das essen war ein gigantisches Erlebnis. Hotel und Restaurant kann man nur weiterempfehlen, es war auch nicht mein erster Besuch .

Das Badezimmer ist nicht mehr Zeitgemäß. Das Bett ist was die Matratze betrifft in die Jahre gekommen. Trotzdem haben wir uns nicht unwohl gefühlt. Aber es muss doch einiges gemacht werden. Besonders im Badezimmer

Virkelig smuk gammel gård, dejlig store værelser og badeværelse. Rigtig sødt personale, og god morgenmad med masser at vælge imellem. God beliggenhed, tæt på rhinen i smuk hyggelig lille by og nemt at tage letbanen indtil Køln.

Ein besonderes Kleinod mit unvergleichlichem Charme!

Dieses Hotel ist etwas Besonderes! Nur 15 Autominuten von Köln Innenstadt entfernt, liegt es super ruhig gelegen in einem netten, kleinen Vorort. Das Hotel ist ein vor 40 Jahren umgebauter ehemaliger Bauernhof mit wunderschönem Innenhof. Alles ist mit Liebe gestaltet, das Personal ist supernett. Das reichhaltige Frühstück in einem geschmackvollen extra Pavilion war inbegriffen (in meinem Fall). Nur zwei Häuser weiter ist der geschützte, kostenlose Hotelparkplatz, der ebenso außergewöhnlich ist. Rundherum einfach schön! Köln? Nur noch dort...;-) Herzliche Grüße!

Prachtige lokatie. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. ‘Fietsenstalling’ kan beter. Heerlijk gegeten, op een sfeervolle plek.

Iets meer ruimte om de fiets te stallen en om ze op te laden.
