The hotel has an impressive modern lobby, library with comfortable seats and music player, and various sitting lounge on the lobby floor. At the basement level, there is a table tennis table and a mini badminton court. The room with open-air bath is very spacious at 72m2. It comes with 2 super single beds, a tatami living room, 2 TVs, and a huge bath area with male/female sink areas and 2 shower sets. The fridge is loaded with free cans of beer and green tea which get replenished. There is free alcohol (sparkling wine, white and red wine) and snacks from 3-5pm and 7.30-10pm at the bar lounge. We enjoyed both the buffet breakfast and dinner which had good variety and food of high quality too. The massage chair on 11th floor (highest floor where we stayed) was very enjoyable and a plus!
If only there is a king/queen bed option and not 2 super single beds. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

Breakfast was OK. Many different foods to choose from. Dinner was also acceptable. The location of the site is amazing. The beds and our rooms were cleaned daily. Our one daughter speaks Japanese, so communication with the staff was always smooth and clear. The onsens were also amazing. Nice to have washer and dryer on site (although it would have been nice to have two sets).
The smoking room should not be located at the entrance of the lobby. There should always be a cab located at the lobby entrance of the property since shuttle service to surrounding areas is so limited. More daily shuttle services to local areas surrounding the facility (Mushroom site, Date Train (bus) Station, and Lake Toya, etc.). Early (or multiple) transportation departure times to New Chitose Airport. The cooking ventilation in the buffet dining room should be improved so that it pulls all of the smells from cooking out of the cooking facility. This lack of ventilation caused us to wash our clothes daily that we wore for both breakfast and dinner, which was very inconvenient.
