The hotel has an impressive modern lobby, library with comfortable seats and music player, and various sitting lounge on the lobby floor. At the basement level, there is a table tennis table and a mini badminton court. The room with open-air bath is very spacious at 72m2. It comes with 2 super single beds, a tatami living room, 2 TVs, and a huge bath area with male/female sink areas and 2 shower sets. The fridge is loaded with free cans of beer and green tea which get replenished. There is free alcohol (sparkling wine, white and red wine) and snacks from 3-5pm and 7.30-10pm at the bar lounge. We enjoyed both the buffet breakfast and dinner which had good variety and food of high quality too. The massage chair on 11th floor (highest floor where we stayed) was very enjoyable and a plus!
If only there is a king/queen bed option and not 2 super single beds. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

Fantastic hotel if you're only looking for onsen. If your primary concern is washitsu/tatami – this part is a bit dated. There's mold in the windows, in the winter they recommend pouring boiling water for the windows to open/close. The bathroom also smelled a bit like cigarettes.
But, the onsen. It's simply fantastic. Open for long hours, despite the hotel being fully occupied we managed to have onsens for ourselves (there's a male/female split, changes every day so even during one night stay you get a chance to experience everything).
The onsen area is huge. You first enter an indoor part where you shower, there are indoor hot baths where you can adjust your body temperature before walking outside.
And outside – the pictures don't give it justice. Taking a plunge in a hot bath when the snow falls on your head is an experience to remember forever.
Ah, small remark about food – the dinner had preassigned time slots; so be sure to arrive rather hungry as you might get assigned an early spot. But it was fantastic. 100% worth booking the dinner option.
Should have stayed longer.
Despite all the good parts (like onsen, food), the room itself was a bit subpar. If you're hoping for a great room experience and onsen is an addon, maybe reconsider. If it's the other way around – book it quick!
