Great onsen/bath facilities.
Nice traditional Japanese ambience and decore (at least from this foreigner's perspective).
Bed was a bit hard for me but probably fine for most people.

The big family room, the diverse onsen, the location, having our futon beds folded and reopened every day by the hotel staff.
The onsen feels a bit old and not as clean as others I've been to (for example: visable mold on the ceiling). The outdoor onsen is partially outdoors but not completely open, so the air is still hot and it's hard to get youtself cool down when needing a break from the water heat.

middle of town easy to everything, had privy onsen in room loved it was worth the extra money
a little boring the town did not have much to do at night and hotel did not offer any activity’s.

Nice onsen area, I prefer the breakfast to dinner buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was very very very small. Our family of five was given one Japanese style room but there was barely any space left after the futons were laid out. The bathroom was a squeeze too and we had no place to hang our towels. Buffet dinner had variety but the taste was so so. No drinks included except ice water.
