Fantastic public Bath with so so many options of Onsen and they have poster showing route to enjoy which Onsens for what purpose ( physical fatigue, mental fatigue)
Breakfast and dinner buffet both good. Have king crab legs for dinner even though smaller ( may be not in season in Jun)

Beware very big property, so from main entrance to West block need some walking.

The hotel is very clean and excellent amenities. The best place we enjoyed is definitely the onsen experience. One of the best onsen in Japan with spectacular views of Jigokudani.
The Ryokan is not thick enough to sleep comfortably. Likely because we are not used to it. Therefore, should have option for other bed options.

The heated pool and onsen is the greatest draw.
Warm and welcoming service at check in.
Room is spacious even for 4 futons.
Short walk from bus terminal through pretty shops along the main street.
Right next to Hell's Valley and the Sengen Park Geyser.
The yukata is good as loungewear but impossible to sleep in as a pajamas! Need to pack own PJ.
Breakfast is buffet, kind of disappointing as I was expecting a Japanese set breakfast.

The hotel room is well equipped and the grand bath is majestic
The toilet in the room is too small and the space is quite tight. Breakfast timing is quite early
