Both breakfast and dinner were incredible and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Breakfast and diner are super. A traditional Japanse experience with a lot of small snacks. We really liked it. The hotel and the room are perfect. We liked the staff and the 'eye for detail'. We enjoyed both days.

We liked everything

A member of staff (bespectacled in beyond 50 years of age) was extremely impolite. After checking in, I went to fill up a bottle of drinking water in the lobby area in the water dispenser. I was halfway done but was then stopped abruptly when he shouted "stop!" He grabbed my half-filled bottle and filled it with water in a jug in the fridge behind. Other than "stop", he did not speak any English. I was taken aback by his rude tone and action which was uncalled for. The hotel was not very helpful to travellers. I asked for a small packet of coolant to be frozen in the main fridge of the hotel as the small fridge in the room did not have a freezer section. The same gentleman who shouted "stop" was not obliging at all.
