The style is very traditional. Close to everywhere in Hell Valley. Lobby is beautiful. Both indoor and outdoor onsen.
The best is the full course dinner. So much food. From starter to soup to sides to main to desserts. Very full after the meal.
Staff made prompt service recovery after a small blunder in house keeping. Good customer service.
Only can bath inside onsen bath area. No room shower facility. No option for only breakfast. Either half board or dinner. So we have to make our way back in time fir dinner from wherever we were.

This was a great stay in Noboretsu. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and the location was great - easy 15 minute walk to Jigukudani (Hell Valley). both the public and private onsen were very enjoyable.
Best part of our stay was the dinner. It was a delicious seafood kaiseki, but what was really "above and beyond" was that they substituted every single element with something special (ie,, not just some veggies) for my non-seafood eating husband.
We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!
