Love the food and room is huge and nice view

The hotel is situated in a quiet spot where you can hear running water from a big creek. The room is huge with an interior onsen. Service was impeccable. My wife required her diet to be controlled in terms of what she can eat. We informed the hotel before we arrived. We were served different meals, both delicious. Couples looking for a place to chill would find this hotel suitable.

Even though some reviews mentioned the hotel looks dated, I find it acceptable. Stayed in a suite with attached onsen bath, room was spacious with adequate in room facilities plus complimentary drinks in fridge.

A very expensive hotel and I'm not really sure what I was paying for! The most gruff welcome to a 5 star hotel I've ever had, we were earlier than check in time but were told to leave and come back later. Tried to have a drink at the bar but that was a disaster so we gave up! No information or help with our onward journey. And we were chased to pay the tourist tax when they realised we would have to leave at 7.45 am as there would be no staff there. The onsen is beautiful. Truly lovely. Just a very odd and expensive experience.
