    Nice view but not much facilities at the hotel

    If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat away from the stress of city life, I highly recommend this hotel. Its location, slightly removed from the town center, gives it a more private and exclusive feel. Although secluded, it offers all the amenities and comforts of a luxurious getaway, plus a convenient complimentary shuttle to and from the JR station and the Toyako Onsen area. The staff truly deserve special recognition for their exceptional service. On the day we were supposed to return to Sapporo, all train services were unexpectedly canceled. They were the ones who proactively informed us of the situation, giving us enough time to arrange an alternative. They even helped us book our transportation back to Sapporo, and we are incredibly grateful for their kindness and assistance. Our only minor concern was the housekeeping schedule. Room cleaning was provided only on designated days, which was something we had never experienced before. Given the premium room rates, we had expected the room to be refreshed daily. Overall, this was a wonderful stay, and we would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing and luxurious escape. It’s a retreat we would happily return to.

    Hotel has recently switched hands and they're making a concerted effort to revitalize. It was a very scenic location beautiful view from the balcony bath. The room was spacious very comfortable. Highlight had to be the dinner it was excellent all of the ingredients were extremely high quality and well presented. We did go for the alucard options as we thought the kaiseki dinner was a bit much, volume wise

    The location of this hotel is not ideal due to limited food options around the area. There are many sharp edges (bed platform, viewing deck platform) which are safety concerns. Also, there is a lack of cloth hooks in the room for hanging clothes when you change. Perhaps ideal for couple but the room design is not suitable for family with kids or old folks.
