    It's not a hotel where you can have quiet, relaxed breakfasts as space is tight. They serve more of Japanese vs American breakfast choices. I would not rate it as a 4☆ hotel but Karaksa Sapporo definitely stands out for its location. The back entrance opens up to Tanukikoji " Tanuki" Shopping Alley where all the drugstores/ pharmacies are, Mega DonKis, izakayas, coffee shops, 7/11, Lawson, Seicomart. And to buy extra luggages!!! Front entrance you have Ichiran Ramen & KFC across, Ippudo & 7/11 @ the corner w/ tons of food places all around. We got a triple room & space was tight for 2 beds + extra bed & 3 Large luggages. We had to move things around. There's a small frosted window you cannot open or look out. Everyday we got 3 bottles of water. I requested for a room away from elevator instead we got 1 right in front of elevator! Happily though we couldn't hear the elevators open/close & " dings". Big plus... shower, sink & toilet were separate. Toiletries & amenities are self-service beside 1F reception. They have their own restaurant rrasonably priced Sushi Don. 2F Idori Lounge where you can enjoy FREE , yes , 24 hrs free hot/cold coffee, chocolate, lemonade & orange juices & corn soup! Pay ¥100 for tetra pack & bottled full cream, strawberry & coffee milks. There's also a vending mschine serving beers & alcohol. We dint use the onsen but my friend checked it & noted twas small area. Oh & they have a weighing scale at the front lobby to check your check-in luggage allowance after all the non-stop shopping! All in all a good & safe stay. Next time will prolly checkout other hotels near Sapporo JR Station , Stellar place & Daimaru.
