Great first stay at Malcesine

Location is great, right next to the cable car and a few minutes away from the city center Breakfast was great with lots of selection across savory and sweet items. Pools both indoor and outdoor were great. Daily room cleaning Amazing balcony/terrace view

Well maintained hotel in a nice location walking distance from the core of the town. Amenities include outdoor pool, whirlpool, indoor pool, salt room, sauna. Breakfast was excellent in quality and variety. Personnel was very friendly. We had a room with truly spectacular view.

There was nothing we did not like. I would have preferred if the sauna was open all day long instead of the evening only

Great location and just a short 5 minute walk down to the historic town centre, and near to the Mount Baldo Cable car. Lovely staff and pool area with an amazing view of the castle in Malsecine. Breakfast was also delicious.

How is this hotel only 3*?? IT'S AN AMAZING HOTEL

We absolutely loved this hotel, and even asked if we could extend our stay a little longer as we didn't want to leave. Huge clean rooms with a great shower. Wonderful facilities including a bar and 2 swimming pools. The location was superb and was within walking distance to the main town and beach (>5mins) and was across the street from the ski lifts/ lifts to the top of the mountain. Incredible breakfast with the most friendly staff member to welcome you.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We cant rate this hotel highly enough. We will definitely be back

There wasn’t much to complain about, the one thing I didn’t like is you could only use the air con between 18:30-06.30, which I did kinda understand but if you are wanting to spend an hour or so in the room during the day it could become quite hot.

Perfect anniversary vacation spot!

Gorgeous view from our room of the castle, lake and city center! We were so close to everything! We rented bikes and rode down the coast, took the ferry to Limone, rode the cable car to the top of Monte Baldo and walked, walked the boardwalk, and of course shopped, had drinks, ate delicious Italian food and Gelato in the old town. Hotel Augusta staff were attentive and gracious, everything was very clean charming, and the breakfast was always delicious with plenty to offer. We will stay here again!

Loved everything about the property. It is always unfortunate when other guests smoke, but it is very common in Europe.

Iinadequate value for money

The localization of the hotel is perfect. Just across the street from the Malcesine Funivia do Monte Baldo. Pool also seemed nice and hotel has a parking space, which is nice.

I’m aware that Malcesine (and Garda) are an expensive location. However this hotel had an inadequate value for money. The biggest issue is the AC, which only “works” from 7pm to 6:30 am and you cannot turn it on on your own. Once the AC was turned on our first night, we quickly realized that it’s not working properly and it’s still super hot in the apartment. The reaction of the hotel staff was definitely not satisfactory as they simply said that nothing can be done. Basically, the room and, above all, the bathroom are in need of renovation. The same goes for the rest of the interior. Only reception is in good shape.

under the current circumstance's the staff managed the restaurant very well and breakfast simple but very good. We loved everything about the hotel, its location (Which is up a hill 200 meters from the village which could be difficult for people with walking disabilities). The facilities were as you would expect without being over the top.

Exceptional

The best feature about this hotel is location - it's opposite the cable car and 10min walk to the centre. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Our stay was clean and we really enjoyed the various breakfast options. Our room was supplied with a mini fridge which we found helpful, especially as we stayed in the peak of summer. The indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub were clean and well maintained.

AC is an additional cost per day.
