The vacation house is awesome. It is near grocery stores and tourist spots. It’s clean and everything is in order.

Only would recommend for the location, better off to find somewhere less scammy about extra fees and cleaning

Great amount of space, nice themed decor.

Parking is 10 euros and each room has its own space, scam to pay extra for. Staff is non-existent. Lots of rules about actually using the kitchen and have to clean and sweep before you leave which seems a little much for the price of the room.

Excellent location

The location is excellent. Close to Fussen and close to the castles. The view from the balcony was superb.

A lot of dust under the bed and a not very clean bathroom. There were coffee filters but no coffee :( Although we pre-paid the room, we were supposed to leave cash in the room for tourist tax and parking spot fee. Which is not very handy if you dont carry cash

A beautiful, peaceful few days in a wonderful location

Such a beautiful location, on a quiet road but close to everything we wanted. We loved it! Great to have a balcony to sit out with a cup of tea and enjoy the view.

Location is perfect.

The accommodation is old and needs updating. The photos are not recent! Number of points: - Shower was secured with tyraps - Shower in bath with dirty sealant/wall - Bathroom door was broken due to moisture, as were the blinds - It was not clean; dirty pans, spider-webs, dirty kitchen backsplash, blinds, etc. - Kitchen old, slanted cabinets, damage from use and need updating - Lamp above dining table was broken - Chairs at dining table were broken, warming had paint chipping and rust - Wallpaper and paint were damaged and/or old - No "living room" TV, only in one bedroom. - Garden maintenance (old garden screens, pruning, old clothes dryer, etc.) This was also reported to the accommodation, but no response was received. The highest rating dates from 2015 and is certainly no longer applicable. We strongly doubt positive reviews. Poor value for money.

One night stay close to Neuschwanstein Castle.

Comfortable apartment in Schwangau, we spent only one night on our trip making a short stop at Neuschwanstein Castle (which can be actually seen from the end of the street, maybe even from the top floor). The place had everything we needed. Nice terrace to sit in the evening. Smooth communication with owners, flawless check-in.

Tourist tax was to be left in an envelope so exact change in cash was required with hardly any opportunities to exchange money in the village.

Expensive apartment in a very poor state of repair

The apartment is in a very good location for the castles. The beds were comfortable, and hot water plentiful for showers and baths.

The apartment overall has been furnished very long ago and is in serious need of renovation and restyling. Kitchen has no dishwasher and no freezer. The hanging lamp above the table is broken and about to fall, and lamp over the cooking counter doesnt work either. There are not enough sockets so you have to carry the coffee machine and switch it over with another appliance. Kitchen chairs are torn, as is the (single) kitchen towel provided. Tooth brush holder is a broken coffee cup, and the kettle is damaged on top. Bathroom: mould around the bath tub, light over mirror not working. Only 3 towels provided for 4 people. Wi-fi is patchy and TV not smart, so you cannot cast from your phone or connect to Netflix. For the price of approx 250 euro a night one would expect a much higher level of service.

Lovely cosy apartment

Nicely furnished with colours, a terrace with a lovely view. Really nice dinnerware with good quality plates. Very easy key collection placed in a safe box, so we didn't need to rush to get there by time. It is a bit of walk to the closest town but we didn't mind it and we checked it on the map before booking. Bed and bedding was comfortable for one night.

We didn't like cash payment which is not convenient (the closest town is not too close if you need an ATM). Also, cash collection was early in the morning at 8.30, the host knocked on the door when I just got out of bed. It is rude to disturb our privacy - even though she left a note on the table to take cash to her apartment upon leaving. Wifi was dropping off.

I would stay away although the place itself is lovely

Quiet, comfortable beds. Close to Neuschwainstein castle.

The host is mot very friendly. We arrived 10 minutes early for a 3 pm check-in( which is very late in my standards) after more tham a 24 hours travel( from Australia) and was un-impressed. She has charged me separate for cleaning and local taxes( although my booking was saying includes all the taxes and fess). Had to complain to booking.com to get some back. (Reluctantly). Only wants cash despite the website is providing card payment No separate sitting area, just the kitchen and 2 bedrooms ( admittedly big for Europe) Also, be warned Aussie/ Kiwi traveler: no coffee, no microwave, no toaster. Just basic kitchen staff

The location is very convinient to visit the castles and Füssen. Also surrounded by the mountains.

The host was not helpful about the checkout time even if the appartement was avaliable the next day. She nocked the door with insistance at 9 am to take the money asap and then telling us we have to hurry to leave !! So a bit expensive for just staying from 5pm to the morning 9:30 am. + the fridge didn't work.

Nice apartment with a great view of the castle

Spacious terrace and a great view of the Neuschwanstein castle. A very pleasant hostess. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The bed is comfortable. You can walk to the castle and the town of Füssen if you wish and if you don't mind walking a couple of kilometers) There is free parking right next to the house. The hostess sends detailed information on how to find the keys to the apartment.

We had an apartment under a roof with a sloping ceiling, which was not very convenient for my husband, with his tall stature) The apartment is ideal for one or two people, but for 3 or 4 is already too small)

iIt didn’t meet our expectations and the host didn’t treat us unfairly.

The location is good and quiet and the flat was clean. The surrounding area is beautiful.

The host didn’t give us the flat we booked which was in the first floor but gave a flat in the ground floor instead. She told us: If you don’t want it, you can go to a hotel. Toiletries unavailable and some towels are old. Internet is weak and not activated all the time.
