Comfortable and convenient!

Host was super-flexible on check-in arrival. Space was very convenient for visits to nearby castles. For 5, it was no problem that there was only 1 bathroom.

Host collected "local tax" in cash on arrival. Never saw a receipt for that and it has bothered me ever since.

The homeowner is very kind and speaks clearly without any unnecessary words. The service is very attentive, while maintaining a certain distance to avoid disturbing tenants. The apartment is fully equipped, and I am very happy to have spent an unforgettable 4 days with my family in this small apartment in Fussen. The location is also quite convenient, 15 minutes walk from the train station, 12 minutes walk from RWEW supermarket, and 10 minutes walk from the 78 bus stop that can take you to Neuschwanstein Castle or Schwangau.

Nice, clean apartment; perfect location

This was the perfect location near Neuschwanstein and the beautiful south of Germany. We loved the town of Füssen and really enjoyed a walk to the lake. The house was well appointed and very clean.

Owner very accommodating and friendly. Really wanted to make our stay enjoyable. The rental unit was exceptionally clean. Kitchen well supplied with coffee and any spice you might need. Lots of dishes. Screens on windows nice to have.

Shower head would have been nice mounted higher on wall. But still manageable.

Excellent place for a family to stay.

The location is fantastic! It's an easy walk into Fussen. Parking was easy, although I drove right by the entrance on the first try. The host was very nice and welcoming. He provided restaurant recommendations. The apartments are very clean and all the equipment worked well. We had a large group, and this was an excellent way for our families traveling together to stay. We would definitely book again.

You have to take off your shoes when entering. The apartments are accessible from an indoor hallway, so the shoes stay on a rack just outside the apartment door. If you like that, great. I prefer to wear shoes in the house since I stay on my feet. But since shoes are never inside, the floors do stay much cleaner. The only other thing was a washing machine: when we first booked the place, a washing machine was included in the description. A couple weeks before our trip, it was removed from the description and pictures and was not available. We had to use a laundromat, but it was very close to the apartments. I did notice the change ahead of time, so it wasn't a big deal. We were still very happy with the apartments.

Stay here when visiting Fussen and the Royal Bavarian Palaces.

Perfect location for easy into central Fussen and only a short 7 minute drive to the Royal Palaces of Neuschwanstein & Hohenschwangau. Very comfortable and well furnished with all we needed. Host gave us some good pointers on where to eat in Fussen. Free parking.

Nothing at all to bring up. Note the host asked we take our shoes off before entering the unit which is bit unusual but not a big deal.

A lovely apartment in a good location.

The host was very friendly and met us on site to introduce the apartment and explain the rules. He also recommended a restaurant in town which was amazing (Ludwigs). The apartment was very comfortable, clean, well organised and had everything you needed. It was great to have secure on site parking.

The stairwell smelt very strongly of cigarettes. Not great when you have to put your shoes on and off outside the apartment. Be aware that there isn't a separate living room - the TV and sofa are in the same room as the triple bedroom. The shower is a hand held shower.

An extremely neat, clean and well equipped apartment in an ideal location - with free parking - and it is an easy 10 minute walk from the old town. The host is friendly, sincere and very helpful, but also respected our privacy. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Fussen.

Impeccable

Everything was perfect! The location is very near to the center of the town and to the kings' castles. The view from the window is picturesque. The apartment is very clean and very good equipped even for a longer stay. It's really comfortable.

If you sleep with an open window, you hear the roar of the cars passing by in the street. One hears nothing however with a closed window. It's just a minor remark which doesn't ruin the overall wonderful impression.

Overall: Clean and convenient with a friendly host.

We booked 2 apartments and the first impression we got is that it is very clean and the utilities and amenities we need are very much complete (kitchen utensils, cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, TV with Netflix, hair dryer, slippers for the guests, towels, etc.). The beds are also comfortable, nothing to complain about. The location is also convenient as it is very close to Fussen center. There is also ample parking for 2 cars. The host, Senay, is very friendly and helpful.

We arrived during the warm days, so extra ventilators/electric fans would've been made our sleep at night very much comfortable. The shower head is also not connected on the wall but on the side of the bathtub, so taking a shower takes some effort with holding the shower head with one hand. An exhaust above the cooker would also be a plus so we don't need to open the window every time we cook.

We had an enjoyable few days at Riverside and we’re made to feel welcome.

It was easy to find and in a great location for us. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed.

As it was our first time in Fussen it would have been useful to have more information available about where to find supermarket, bakery etc, with a detailed tourist map of the town.

The location was fantastic, an easy drive to see the castles and very easy walking distance to the old town area. The beds were comfy, all the necessities were stocked in the kitchen. and I loved the little touches like providing crocs for guest use while indoors since there is a no street shoes policy.

I didn’t love the shower, it was handheld but there was no bracket to fix it on the wall so you had to hold it to shower.

Unbelievably pretty and well located. “Mister Freeman” (the host) is such a great and energetic guy who even let us check in later than usualZ The view is fantastic and is in walking distance to the center of Füssen or a five minutes drive to the main spotlights of the area (Neuschwanstein or Lechfall). Place was clean and it looked just like in the pictures.

The first morning felt a strong smell of tobacco in the main hallway and in the stairs which I assume came from the guests of the room in front is the one we got. Nothing to blame on the property or the owner but that touched my nerves a little bit and could be something to consider recommending or prohibiting to guests (if it is already done so, I take it back)
