Best Accomodatiin ever

This was the best accomodatuin we have ever stayed in. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. The location was rught in the centre of the square but the apartment was so quiet. The beds were warm and so comfortable. Peter, Betty and Lucky were amazing hosts.

Awesome, I highly recommend Lucky Home if you’re staying in the area.

The location of the property was fantastic. It was close to shops and restaurants. We really got a great sense of the local environment. Peter, our host, was fantastic. He went above and beyond to get us situated in our apartment. He literally met us on the main road and guided us to the underground parking. He then guided us to the apartment which overlooked a wonderful non-traffic street with many shops and places to eat. The apartment was well stocked with appliances, dishes, utensils, and other supplies.

Fantastic find in the heart of Fussen

The location was right in the town square. The host gave us free Fussen cards to ride the buses to and from the castles. He also had Netflix signed in cold beverages in the fridge for us. It was clean, large and homey.

Superb Lucky Home

Lucky Home is located in the heart of the town of Fussen, lots of wonderful cafe's and restaurants all around you. The train station and bus stops are very close. Easy access to Neuschwantstein Castle from here. I stayed in a fully equipped apartment at Lucky Home. The place is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the host Peter is great and very helpful. I thoroughly recommend a stay here. 10 out of 10. I will return 😃

Wonderful central apartment from which to explore Schwangau and Fussen

Peter (the owner) met us on the street and showed us where we could park our rental car. He then showed us how to bring our luggage to the apartment, and indeed helped carry the luggage up to the apartment. He told us stories about the building and about the town, and gave us a very positive impression of the town and of the apartment. He was very helpful. The apartment was very well-furnished and comfortable. The two bedrooms (great for a small family like ours), kitchen, bath, sitting room, and wide entry area were spacious and met all our needs. We enjoyed the views from the windows. We brought drinks and snacks from the local bakeries and grocery stores back to the apartment. We also enjoyed dinners at restaurants that Peter recommended. We also took his recommendation about using the local bus to venture to and from the castles, and that worked out very well. I'm sure that we would have been frustrated had we used our rental car for our visit. We very much enjoyed our stay at Lucky Home Ferienwohnung in Fussen, and recommend the place highly.

Be aware that this apartment is on the top floor of a very old building. There is no elevator. You will need to carry your luggage up (and down) 3 flights of stairs.

Fabulous apartment in the heart of the old town, with an attentive owner!

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the beautiful old town. Peter, the owner, greeted us on arrival. He told us a bit about the history of the building, the accommodation itself and the area, which was both interesting and informative. The welcome book had all the info we needed in English and there were also pamphlets with maps of the area. The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable & it was nice to be able to enjoy a complimentary soft drink whilst watching TV in English after a long hike. The apartment was like home from home, with books to read and board games to play Peter also helped us with booking onward travel. We enjoyed the challenge we were set and the reward!

Home from home in a historic town!

We have had a lovely stay at Lucky Home! We were met by our host Peter at a nearby car park, as our vehicle was too high for the private underground parking this accommodation usually provides. We were escorted to the accommodation on a short 5 minute walk into the beautiful town of Fussen. The property was amazing. It was clean, warm and comfortable, a real home from home and has everything you need. Peter explained a brief history about the property, including the fact that this building is one of the most photographed in Fussen, then left us to enjoy the town. A few minutes walk is the Castle (unfortunately, it was closed on a Monday, so we didn't go in), but we walked around the town soaking up the atmosphere. About 20 minutes walk away, you can cross a pedestrian bridge into Austria, which was a bit of fun. To access the apartment, there is a wide spiral staircase up a couple of flights of stairs, but there is a stairlift for those who need it. If you are lucky, you may meet Lucky the cat, whom I viewed from his window seat looking down into the street below from his own apartment. Also, visit the amazing Italian Ice-cream bar next door, you won't be disappointed. As somebody said in a previous review, just come to Fussen and book this apartment, there's nothing you will not love, and it is understandable as to why it has a 9.8 rating. Thank you for a great stay, we would love to come back again one day. 🐈‍⬛

Loved the location, Peter, the owner, was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of the town and surrounding area. The apartment had everything you needed for a longer stay and was close to all points of interest and bus / train station. He provided us with locals pass for use on buses, this was great for visiting the two nearby castles but lots of things to do within the town itself. Tea, coffee and water were supplied by Peter on arrival and secure parking a short walk away.

This a lovely eclectic spot. Peter give us details on the area and the history of the building. The accommodation was good with plenty of facilities. Coffee making , cooker, kettle, etc. Fussen is adorable with lots of intriguing places to visit and this apartment adds to the vacation.

Greta location and clean apartment.

The apartment was wonderful. There isn’t an elevator. The apartment was on the 4th floor. It was a spiral staircase. It's a lot when you have luggage, so just be aware. The owner did have a chair lift for anyone who may need it. The listing said a washer and dryer but there wasn’t one. The owner did a load of laundry for us for €10. We appreciated it but it would have been nice to be able to do a few loads myself. Other then that the place was lovely.

Fabulous location to maximise use of time in Fussen

Location and the excellent advice from our host, particularly recommendations for where to eat. Peter made our stay a real pleasure with his advice regarding travel and sightseeing. We were greeted at the car park and guided to the accommodation right in the centre of Fussen old town.

We loved staying here and our host was amazing, he thought of everything and super accommodating!

What I liked the most was our friendly host. Communication was great and he gave so many useful tips about the area which helped me out greatly. On top of that, the flat itself was very nice, clean and spacious. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked amazingly, he thought of everything!

We loved our stay at the property but it seemed the flat was quite cold and we didn‘t want to ask to turn the heating on in September but that‘s really the only minor issue we had. Everything else was great!

Fantastic house in the centre of Füssen

The Lucky Home Ferienwohnung is in the historical centre of Füssen, a very old house with interesting paintings on the facade. Our suite was very large with fully equipped kitchen, perfect TV set and many interesting books about Füssen and surroundings in the library. We very also provided with all useful information upon arrival.

Our suite was on the third floor and there is no lift in the house (it could be a problem for some people). Everything else was really pefect.

A very Lucky find

The apartment is in a truly fabulous location and amazingly well equipped with everything you need. Peter is an awesome host, warm, friendly and great fun. The interior has quirky and clever design features that are unique and designed by Peters very creative wife Betty. It was very clean, quiet and a real home from home. The little touches such as sweets, refreshments in the fridge and some bubbles (for our celebration) were highly appreciated along with ample reading and games for rainy days. Tips and bus cards were a very pleasant surprise. The secure parking worked perfectly in such a busy tourist location. We've already booked our next 2 stays and highly recommend this mountain view apartment 🙂

The location of the property was great right in the heart of Fussen . Peter and Betty could not of been more helpful and kind. The apartment was lovely and unique in its presentation the rooms we comfotable and very clean. We intend to return next year as we now realise Fussen has loads to offer us as its a beautiful historic town.
