We really enjoyed the size of the property. It felt like we were the only people staying there most of the time.

Occasionally the hot water wasn’t hot.

What a wonderful stay here. The staff was awesome, kind, and very attentive. The food was great, varied, and abundant; however, the breakfast could have more variety and more Mexican options. At first, I was hesitant about not having a huge buffet selection, but the à la carte option was much better in terms of quality and freshness. The steaks were out of this world! The drink and bar menu was very complete, and the bartenders at both the Aqua Bar and the Hotel Bar were amazing. They were always kind and provided excellent service. We did not have many issues securing pool chairs, unlike some reviews mentioned. However, occupancy was not full during our stay, and I can see how it could get busy quickly with higher hotel occupancy. A big shoutout to Franco, a passionate and amazing cocktail master. Seriously, have him make you some unique drinks. His technique is insanely good. Also, shoutout to Jorge and Gabriel at the pool, and to our butler, Alfonso. They made our stay feel magical and enjoyable. Thank you for your dedication and always kind attitude! We would definitely come back in the future!

The outlets on the room were loose, so if you are using any multiport charger, that won't work and it's annoying. We had the same issue with the hair dryer.

The staff is so attentive. I had dental surgery during my stay and they were eager to assist me in any way they couple. Kept my ice packs in their lobby freezer. I can’t say enough about how awesome they are.

The only thing I would suggest is adding a seating area along the oceanfront of the property that isn’t located on the beach or by the pool. It would be nice to have a comfortable chair on the grass. At times, I didn’t want to sit by the pool, on the beach, or in a restaurant, and a quieter, more relaxed option would have been appreciated.

The property is in a great location, which gave our room had an extraordinary view. The room was very clean and newly renovated, including a very clean bathroom. The pools were clean, and a majority of the property was well-kept. The staff genuinely made the short stay exceptional—our butler, Luis, was super hilarious, kind, and helpful (you’re the best, Luis!). I have to also mention the staff at the late night snack café (they were so sweet and funny), and one woman at check-in (I forget her name, which I feel horrible about) who was the nicest, warmest person. If we needed anything or requested something, the staff made sure our requests/needs were met very efficiently and quickly, which I really appreciated. They all genuinely wanted to help and do whatever possible to make us comfortable, which is rare anywhere. Lastly, the breakfast was pretty yummy, but the churros were incredible and by far my favourite food option there!

While our room was very fresh and beautiful, our AC was not working for majority of the stay. We had someone come check it, but he just pressed the same buttons we did. We wanted to give him a chance, but it obviously didn’t work. We had woken up at 3:30am to get someone else to fix it because the moisture and heat in the room was unbearable (the new technician came to our room almost immediately, fixed the issue and was very mindful of our sleeping child). We paid for all-inclusive, but were surprised by how limited we were—there were not many drinks in our mini bar (and by the time we noticed, drinks were not available to order to the room), the room service options (other than breakfast) were extremely few, and the food in general was not great—not awful, but not great. We had dinner during the Super Bowl, and the line for food was insanely long, and the service didn’t match what we got everywhere else from staff. During breakfast, there was construction happening on the hotel building, with very loud banging sounds that disrupted our meal quite a bit. The kids club, while great when open, was closed when we arrived, and open for a short time before we had to leave. All in all, the all-inclusive option was not worth it for our short stay (perhaps it is better for longer stays), the facilities were pretty limited regarding things to do with kids, but the beyond exceptional staff, the view, and the quality of our room made up for most of these downsides, and am very thankful for all the attentiveness, kindness, and excellent service.
