This is a good value guest house within easy walking distance of central Stornoway. It delivers what it offers (Bed and Breakfast) at a competitive price for holiday season Scotland. If you are on a late ferry there is an efficient self-entry and check-in process. A generous breakfast is provided. The owner is very flexible on special requests; mine was secure parking, in a garage, for my motorcycle while I was sailing. Recommended as an overnight stop for those seeking economic touring on Lewis.

The gentleman running the house was very helpful & friendly although the 2 Russian cats were a pain. Luckily these were out of sight in the mornings & evenings.
The Guest House is very "tired" & in a run down area. The bedroom has no coat hooks or surfaces so most of our things ended up on the floor. There are only 2 toilets to share for approx 8 bedrooms. Its a 20 minute walk into town/bus station, this can be very tiresome if the weather is poor.
