Great Location - book early for parking.

Good location for the sights of Fougères and town centre. Limited but secure garage parking (4 spaces). Good restaurant on site and a a choice if others nearby.

Nice central hotel to visit this town

Nice and central to the town and Chateau, a comfortable room, with a good shower, a great selection for breakfast.

Sadly the coffee tray was dusty, as were the cups, needed to wash them before using, would have preferred spoons rather than wooden stirrers. Unfortunately there was loud music in the newly opened restaurant next door, kept us awake, it suddenly went off at 2am, we told the reception at check out, they already knew, and had already called them.

Lovely Stay

Lovely comfortable and friendly hotel and staff. Perfect location to walk around Fougeres. Bedroom was large and clean. Has a beautiful facade and they have kept the charm of the inside but with modern touches. Great breakfast. Will return and recommend for a stay in Fougeres. You will not find better.

Good location for exploring Fougeres.

Lovely welcome and very helpful friendly staff. Great central location. Nice entrance and very helpful having a water filter with carafe and glasses that you could help yourself to. Great to have parking on site and worth paying for.

Dismal communal areas. Our bedroom only had one bedside light and although another was supplied there wasn't a socket to plug it in! The bedroom (Superior Queen) felt like it had had a cheap makeover with click, clack flooring and bad plumbing. A Saniflo loo is not ideal.

The bed was too big for the room, or the room was too small for the bed, it was difficult to walk around the foot of the bed to get to the bathroom, one had to shuffle sideways not walk!

A nice hotel in a lovely town.

We have stayed there before, so knew the location was very good and the rooms were quite comfortable.

Unfortunately, there was a street party outside on the night we stayed, and the noise went on quite late and disturbed our sleep.

State of disrepair, flags outside an example of the bad maintenance, curtain falling apart, window frame broken, toilets so small you had to leave the door opened to avoid banging knees, shower door not closing properly so water in the tiny bathroom, very small and very hot room no air conditioning so noisy fan necessary.

Good hotel with friendly staff in a good location for fourgeres.

Good location for the castle and local facilities. Nice room with good facilities, including kettle etc. Chilled water machine in entrance was good as very hot weather during the stay. Free public parking just 2minutes away, so no need to book inside hotel unless it's something special!

The weather was unseasonably hot at circa 35 degrees; aircon would have been great, but two fans provided so manageable

Staff were excellent and there property is in a fabulous location with a locked garage for our motorbikes. Rooms were good and I would definitely come back

It is conveniently located. The staff is very polite and positive. There is a big free parking lot in 2 mins distance.

The room is quite small, so it was difficult to open the luggage anywhere other than on the bed.

1 night in Fougeres

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, pretty much in the centre of Fougeres, close to shops, bars, and restaurants. The Public Garden and the Fougeres Castle must not be missed.

It's very dated inside, with no air-conditioning and tired decor in the bedrooms. It's not really a big problem, though, but it might be worth considering.

Nice enough

I booked this hotel as it was in the correct price range and I thought was a good location, unfortunately I didn't check the map! It was on a roundabout, so quite noisy. The room was compact and didn't have any air conditioning or portable fans. To be fair, we didn't ask for one at reception.

Good option in Fougeres

The location was perfect for what we needed - super central and easy free parking (to note, parking is at the bottom of a hill so get the free lift up to street level!). The room was great and the bed was super comfy.

The desk is open limited hours and staff weren't great at giving good restaurant reccs. That said, they were exceptionally polite and really sweet!

You will not find better in Fougères

The hotel had a great location, castle easily reached by foot, great room - very clean and very comfortable, especially the bed. The breakfast was exactly what you would expect, and fantastically friendly staff - in fact the nicest hotel staff we met during our travels.

Would have picked a better room if I had known what the room was like.

The location.

The room wasn’t aired before we arrived and the window looked over a concrete dome/roof and the back of the building opposite. We had to leave the windows open at night but felt unsafe as anyone could step into the room from the roof outside. Also, the shower tray didn’t drain properly. Had to turn the water off to stop it going onto the floor. Finally, the floor covering in the toilet hadn’t been laid/stuck down properly.

Very suitable location for sight seeing at Fougere. Room was a good size and we liked the bathroom set up. Breakfast was average. We booked parking which worked ok in a very busy location. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
