Breakfast was good although difficult to find a seat die to large coach party dominating the room and buffet.

Reliable Campanile Standard.

Superb breakfast. Let us store our cycles inside.

According to Trivago there is a pool. It's very well hidden if there is. Never seen one at a Campanile so don't know where Trivago got that idea from.

A good overnight stay.

We both like the Campaniile brand. The overnight stay was fine. The staff very friendly and the continental breakfast is what you might expect. The hotel itself was in a more leafy part on the east side of the centre of Fougeres. Based on other Campaniles, we have stayed at, this one seemed as though it might benefit from a little bit of TLC. However, it doesn't detract from what the chain is there for which is to provide one or two nights stop, on a budget, to your main destination.

Don't think that there is anything to note of any major issues.

Un able to access WiFi - I'm sure if we had spoken to reception they would have been able to sort it out but it was late by the time we found we had a problem.

We booked this hotel the night before travelling. I have to say that I was not expecting it to be as good as iit was due to the very good value it offered. The staff were very pleasant and the room clean and very quiet. There was the option of having dinner in the hotel restaurant which had a surprising selection, and in hindsight we should have done this however, we decided to drive the few minutes into Fougere and had dinner in one of the town restaurants. The continental breakfast was served buffet style in the hotel restaurant and there was an ample choice. I would definitely not hesitate to use this hotel again if we follow the same route on our return journey.

The only complaint I have is that the beds/mattresses need to be updated as they are not particularly comfortable.

We booked last minute and we’re pleased to find somewhere to stay

No restaurant staff, only multitasking receptionist, so only very basic food being heated up - we had edible but pretty grim pizzas. We were told about this but not until check in, when we were too tired to explore further, especially as it was raining heavily. Disappointing as it’s specifically advertised as having a restaurant.

Good, basic hotel in convenient location

With Campanile there are few surprises. The room was basic but clean, the beds comfy and bathroom fine with a great shower and bath. The location, parking and integral restaurant were very convenient for our stopover on a long journey.

The staff were individually excellent - friendly and helpful - but overstretched, which meant frustrating waits for check in and out and in the restaurant. The menu was unimaginative, although the food was good. Minor complaints, really.

Spent 1night with family. Restaurant was not well rated on-line. But I thought it was decent. Practical access and free easy parking was good

The garden maintenance staff running their mower and weed Wacker on a dusty dry lawn right in front of our door step at 8:30 am When we were try to get the fresh cool air of the morning before the heat wave. They could have been more considerate and think about their guest still in their rooms. Could have been taken care after check out hours

The room was obviously occupied by smokers and was not great for sleeping at night.
